Amandil : Lord of Andni and father of Elendil.Though an Elf-friend,he was for many years a friend and counsellor to King Ar-Pharazn.Dismissed by Sauron,he sailed into the West to seek the pardon of the Valar for the misdeeds of the Nmenreans;his fate is unknown.

Isildur : Eldest son and heir of Elendil, who cut the One Ring from the hand of Sauron after the Siege of Barad-dr.He was lost with his company and three eldest sons,Elendur,Aratan and Ciryon at the Disaster of the Gladden Fields early in the Third Age.His son Valandil survived.

Malvegil : The son of Celebrindor is best known for the fact that the Witch-King founded the realm of Angmar during his reign.Nearly seven hundred years after it's foundation Angmar and its allies would destroy his kingdom of Arthedain but in Malvegil's time there is no record of any open warfare between the two nations.Malvegil ruled Arthedain for seventy-seven years and was succeeded by his son Argeleb I.

Argeleb I : Son of Malvegil, who sought to reunify the kingdom of Arnor under his Kingship. He failed, largely through the machinations of the Witch-King of Angmar and instead an open was broke out in which Argeleb himself was slain. He was succeeded by his son Arveleg I.

Arveleg I : The beginning and the end of Arveleg's reign were forged in battle and in war.He became King when his father Argeleb I went to war with the newly allied lands of Rhudaur and Angmar and was slain. Arveleg died in an attack from the forces of Angmar and was succeeded by his son Araphor.

Aranarth : The eldest son of Arvedui who would have come King of Arthedain if not for the destruction of the kingdom. After his father's death Aranarth inherited the leadership of the scattered and diminished northern Dnedain but he took the title of chieftain, rather than King since his father's kingdom had been destroyed.Aranarth served as the chieftain of the Dnedain for 131 years and was succeeded by his son Arahael.
