S�limo : The title and surname given to Manw� the chief of the Valar, master of the airs and lord of birds, especially Eagles.The Elvish root-word s�l that appears in this name literally means 'breath' but is also used in connection with wind and weather.For example,the Elvish name for the hill Weathertop was 'Amon S�l'.
