| Kate Roberts came to Salem in 1994. I didn't really start watching until 1996, which was when Lauren Koslow became a part of the show. I could go on forever telling you how much I love Kate and why I enjoy watching her. But instead i'm going to give you just a few simple reasons. First of all, this lady is one of the strongest and most independant people in Salem. She does anything in her power to protect her family and the people she cares about, and it shows. Alot of people think of Kate as a manipulative, mean, horrible person. The truth is, she is definatly a character we all love to hate. Secondly, I truly believe there would be no show without her. It's not just the fact that Lauren brings so much to her role, or how many people Kate has affected over the past few years. It's mostly the fact that if you think about it, there's not one person in Salem who hasn't been involved with her somehow or another. Another reason I absalutly love watching Kate in action, is because it's always new and interesting. Alot of the characters on Days have the same routine, the same people they target, and the same end results. Kate on the other hand, always seems to get herself into new kinds of trouble. She never usually targets the same people, and she definatly uses alot of new ideas. Kate Roberts is a great mother, a hard working business woman, and a really good role model for the young women in Salem. She never gives up on the things she believes in, and she speaks her mind. I really hope we will all be able to continue watching Kate Roberts live her very interesting and amazingly addicting life. lol |
