Age: 34, Married to Emma, we have a daughter named Laura and a son
named Thomas. Thomas is the new addition to our family, he was born on
6th December 2002.
I met Emma through my Racing activities. We live in New Haw, Surrey.
Occupation: I work in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. as an auto
technician in a local garage. I have been in the auto trade for many
years.
I am an active
member of TMC
I have always taken an interest in motor
vehicles. In the following years:-
I bought a Mini, The Mini was already built but
it needed a clutch. I started racing in July 1988. I entered into the
class:- Production `A` 1000cc. I only managed to win 1 point in that
race.
1988
I entered TMC (Tongham Motor Club), Production 1100cc. My
car was a MK1 Ford Escort, 850 front wheel drive. I built it out of old
secondhand parts. In that race I came approximately 5th at the end of that
season, I won a few trophies that year.
1989
TMC, again I entered Production 1100cc and 1660cc in The
South of England Championship. I came approximately 5th overall in that
season also.
1990
1991
I
entered Prod C in 1991, which was the first year Tongham Motor Club ran
the prod C class. I won the end of year championship. I was placed 4th in
The South of England championship, driving a Ford Escort mk1, 1600
GT.
1992
I entered Prod C for the second year, again driving the Ford
Escort mk1, 1600 GT. In the campionship I was placed 4th at the end of
year. I was also placed 4th in the South of England
championship.
1993
This year was a year of change for me.I drove a Ford Escort
mk1, 1660. I missed the last 3 meetings in that class, I can not remember
my overall placing at the end of that year, because I changed class. I
changed class too 1340cc, I drove a Talbot Horizon 1340 for 3 meetings and
out of a possible 90 points, I ended up with 89 points in that
class.
I drove the Talbot Horizon 1340 which
had a spaceframe with a rear drive engine which was tuned. I was placed
1st in the 1340 class and was placed 4th in the SEGTO
Championship.
1994
Again I drove the Horizon 1340 and was placed 2nd in the
1340 class at the end of the year. I was also placed 3rd in
SEGTO Championship.
1995
Again I drove the Horizon and was
placed 1st at the end of year. I also came 4th in the SEGTO
championship.
1996
1997
Yet
again I drove the Horizon and was placed joint 1st at the end of year. I
was also placed 3rd in the South of England championship.
I moved class, into Super Saloons. I was placed 4th in end
of year championship, 4th in SEGTO championship and 2nd in the SEGTO Vs
NASSA championship. I was driving a Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI
1998
Super Saloon class, driving a Peugeot 205 1.9cc
GTI. I changed engine from 8v to 16v. At the end of season I was placed
4th in the Tongham club championship, 5th in SEGTO and 1st in SEGTO V`s
NASSA, in the SEGTO round.
1999
2000
Super
Saloon class, driving a Peugeot 205 1.9cc 16v GTI. I was placed 1st in
class club championship. Placed 3rd in SEGTO V`s NASSA, in the SEGTO
round.
2001
Still
racing Peugeot, I was placed 3rd in the Tongham club championship. Due to
other commitments that year, that was the only championship that I
entered.
