Task Description
Challenge
* Maintaining the operation of the CTC and getting involved in grant
writing and a GIS initiative.
Accomplishments
* Attended a number of meetings with the staff at MAAC regarding the
application of Geographic Information System (GIS) in Housing and
Community Development.
* Installed ArcView, a GIS software from ESRI on two workstations at
MAAC, including one at Laurel Tree.
* Attended a conference on using technology in community development
and a CTC tech meeting in San Diego.
Highlight
* The applications for software donation from Macromedia and Adobe were
approved. The retail value of the donated software is over $12,000.
