| The Laurel Tree Apartments is one of the four affordable housing communities managed by the MAAC Project in San Diego. It is located in the City of Carlsbad, about 30 miles north of San Diego. The community is a result of a partnership between the nonprofit and private sector to create beautiful and affordabe homes in an affluent neighborhood. The community consists of 138 apartment units. Most residents are working families employed by local companies, including telemarketing firms, hotels, restaurants, manufacturing and other service-related industries. The community building consists of an on-site leasing office, a community center complete with a kitchen for meetings and parties, facilities for subsidized childcare and a community Technology Center (CTC). | ||||||||||||||||
