Community Technology Center
The CTC currently has eight (8) PCs running under Win 98 and two (2) iMacs operating with OS9.  Donations are being sought to replace the four (4) older PCs, and to add multimedia input/output devices for graphics design and video production classes.
The MAAC Project's community development program focuses on building stronger communities through resident involvement, leadership training, youth development and capacity building through the use of technology.  The CTC is opened to all residents Monday thru Friday during office hours.  Free computer classes are scheduled at the center for the residents.  These classes include Internet & E-mail for Adult and Youth, PowerPoint and Photoshop for Youth.  In addition, Teen Producers Project, a digital video production training has been conducted during the summer by members of the Media Arts Center San Diego.
