I've been writing for awhile now, and I have had a couple of my poems published. I'm thinking about publishing my own book of poetry someday. And possibly writing Christian music...I play the flute, piccolo, piano, guitar (finally taking lessons in this), trumpet a little, tambourine...I may learn the drums. But my main instrument is my voice. My sister and I have taken voice lessons, and we've been performing at many different places around the area for a few years now (since 1998) with our sound system. I've always enjoyed being in different bands (marching, symphonic, pep, community, and the Christian rock band "Ichthus"), and choir. I'm just waiting on God's timing and being content with where I am.

daisiesAcademically, I participated in the Gifted Students program (S.L.E. Supplemental Learning Experience) all through school. I also went to college for my senior year (post-secondary enrollment) and then finished through home school, which I would definitely recommend. I've taken mostly French, but bits of Spanish, Latin, and Chinese. I'm currently involved in Bethel Bible Church, college and career community group, Tuesday night Bible study, leading worship for Youth Group, and I was in youth group and Bible quizzing during high school at the Nazarene church. As for my job experiences, I've worked in a kennel at a pet shop giving shots and medicine and taking care of the dogs and cats, at a Christian bookstore, a tree nursery, and a trophy shop. It's been almost a year since I started the job I'm at now. I work at a Pet Supplies "Plus" store...pretty much doing all the jobs (bookkeeping, small animals, stock, cashier...)

Well, that's all for me. Thanks for your time. Jesus is alive!
