October 7 (Wednesday) This is a luncheon meeting and will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Montpelier Mansion 9650 Muirkirk Road. Cost of our fall luncheon is $18.00 per person and will consist of Roast Beef au jus, twice baked potato, green vegetable, drinks and assorted pies and ice cream for dessert. The guest speaker will be Ms Dottie Aleshire, an expert on genealogical research, a guest lecturer at Howard Community college and member of the Howard County Genealogical society. She will speak on tracing our roots, assets that make the job easier, and will help us get started on this rewarding path for ourselves and our families.

November 4 (Wednesday) ~ We will meet at 1:00 p.m. at the Laurel Community Center, 7901 Cypress Street, Laurel Lakes. Past President Ken Hopkins will return to discuss the legal documentation we and our families should have; the Medicare and Medicaid systems; and general information to help us prepare for the inevitable.
