T.J. & Laura: Our Big News is T.J.'s promotion at Atlas. He is now a Foreman of his own shift!! He is training right now and has a couple weeks left of that. Then he'll begin on his own. It is very exciting for us. He has worked very hard for Atlas for over 4 years and more than deserves this position. He will be great and they already expect that. He can't believe that he's his own foreman! I've now been at Galaxy for over 3 years and continue to climb up in responsibilities. I enjoy working there and the people I'm around. I've also started back working my Mary Kay business and it's going great! For a while I just worked reorders and now I'm back to classes and real selling. My goal is to earn that free Grand Am! So if you need a new look, contact me! We have tons of wonderful new products out and we're giving away Bahama Cruises... so you can't loose!!!
Danielle: Well what can we say about Danielle. She's the smartest kid on earth... that doesn't even touch it! She is now in Kindergaten at her daycare school and she will be done before the summer is over. About 4 months ago they did the school testing on her and she was placed in the 1st - 2nd grade range! Now she's been doing Kindergarten work and much more. So who knows where she would be now. We had decided she was going to East Prairie, but now we're really considering Eagle Ridge Christian School where I went. No matter how high she tests and how mature she is, we're not sure if E.P. will let her go to 1st grade and if a "public school" in general would push her enough. At Eagle Ridge they will let her test into the 1st grade and since they are a small school, they will be able to push her and work with her amazing abilities. The things she remembers, comprehends, and analizes will just astound you! We have a very bright, blessed child. God definitely has big plans for her. On another note, she has been in a bumper bowling league since December and loves it. She does really good and tries to get all the pins on her first ball. It is very cute to watch. And spring soccer league sign-ups are coming out for the YMCA, so we'll be getting her signed up for that soon. She talks about soccer and told me she will do better now that she's older and almost 5. She's ready to get out there and play. Danielle does great with Gabrielle. She doesn't really show any jealousy and just absolutly adores her little sister. And she's quite protective of her too! Every now and then she'll close the door to her room and not let Gabrielle in, which upsets the little one, but she needs her time to be big kid. I can see that they will be very close as they grow up.
Gabrielle: Gabrielle is Ms. Mobile! She goes where ever she wants and gets into EVERYTHING. If it opens and it's not hers, she's in it. She is quite the explorer. She walks holding onto things, like your finger, the couch or a push toy and she pulls up fast. She's tried taking a few steps without holding a finger, but gets excited and falls. She will stand without holding onto anything and drink a bottle, but she hasn't taken any successful steps. I give her a week or two and that will be accomplished! She's growing like a weed, weighing about 22 pounds. She's gotten longer too... we're pushing it with some of the 12 months in length. I think she is the world's happiest baby. It doesn't matter how sick she gets, she still smiles away! And with that one dimple it's just too cute. Gabrielle is definitely different than Danielle was. She is louder and talks more than Danielle did, believe it or not! Imagine going on vacation in a car with us and our two girls.. it definitely won't be boring! Gabrielle loves her big sister and wants to be everywhere she is. Bath time is hilarious. Gabrielle would stand at the bath and watch Danielle and stick her hands down in the water. Let's just say she was so wet you would think she was in the bath. So now they take baths together and have so much fun. Course Danielle does take big kid showers without sissy. Gabrielle has a count of 6 teeth now, 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. The past few days we've seen signs that we might be seeing some more soon. And she gives those 6 teeth a workout. Let's just say Gabrielle likes to eat. It is a every exciting time in her day! She just loves to feed herself. She's growing up too fast!
