Halloween Safety

These are our safety rules that our class thought was really important to know for Halloween Night.

1.    Remember a flashlight.

2.    Stay by an adult you know.

3.    Make a stop sign with your hand before crossing the street.

4.    Don't wander off or run away!

5.    Wear reflectors.

6.    Have a parent or guardian check ALL candy or treats.

Here are some more important safety rules to remember.

1.    Only visit houses with lights on, especially houses with Halloween decorations.

2.    Only visit the houses in your neighborhood, especially the homes that you and your parents or guardians know.

3.    Make sure that you are always polite.  Don't forget to say 'Thank you'.

4.    Never run in your Halloween costume.  You could trip and hurt yourself.

5.    Only wear Halloween masks that have large eyeholes to ensure proper vision.

6.    Never pick up candies form the street.  They might be poisoned candies or the treats of another kid.

7.    For no reason should you enter a house, especially the house of a stranger.

8.    For no reason should you enter a stranger's car ever.
