The Hearth

The hearth is truly the heart of the home.  It is by the fireside that we curl up with a good book or play games with our family members and warm ourselves (inside and out) on chilly winter nights.  The kitchen (often the modern hearth) brings us pleasant memories of warm goodies and conversations with kith and kin who have come for a visit. The hearth has long been a symbol of the Pagan community, in addition to being a very powerful center in the home.

In this chamber of the Weyr, you will be able to find activities, crafts, games, and recipes for the entire family to enjoy.  Of course, if any of you have craft/Craft ideas you would like to share with the community, we welcome you to do so.  Just e-mail me.  (Credit will always be given!) NOTE: None of the projects require complicated, heavy, expensive tools.  If you have them and want to use them, modify the project ideas accordingly.)

Many of our family discussions happen near the hearth.  Family decisions are often made here.  With this in mind, I would like to open the floor to those who would like to discuss those topics faced by Pagan parents/families.  The topics are numerous and full of potential controversy, I know.  If you have an opinion, or would like someone to share their's on a topic of importance to you, please e-mail me.  All opinions, when given with due respect, are welcome in Witchling's Weyr.

This is another page that will change often, so please check back regularly. I have started the discussions, but please don't let my opinion be the only one that is voiced.

If you are interested in joining a mailing list where topics like these will be discussed in depth, join the Witchling's Weyr list.
