I am still working at the OG, but I am getting absolutely no calls for substitute teaching jobs. I almost find myself missing it, but really missing the extra income.
I interviewed for a flight attendant position in the hopes that it would get my "foot in the door" in a young company with a lot of potential. It turned out I did not meet the height requirement (I had to be able to reach baggage compartments sevent feet from the floor). It's a shame since the recruiter really seemed excited for me to join their energetic team.
I actually am probably the most proud of this situation. I really did my research well, took the initiative to try to fit the company's needs, had a great interview (except for the height obstacle), and wrote a positive follow-up e-mail. I think I'm actually getting better at this! |

I have become so anxious to finish this website. I spend late nights going over every word and making changes over and over again. I am anxious because this is a test concept. I am sure others have done something similar, but it is certainly not something anyone I know has done. That's "innovative" enough for me.
All I need to do is scan the writing samples to be posted. I have to resist the urge to go into those press releases and re-do them, as that would be incredibly dishonest. I am overcoming perfectionistic tendancies and urges.
I also want to post pictures of events with which I have been involved. I worry I am doing too much, so after these things are complete, I will quit. I have had so much fun that I am creating similar pages for friends and family. Even those who know how to create more complex websites seem to appreciate what I am doing and the ideas behind this site! Being acknowledged is always appreciated. |
