I was born and raised in West Hills, CA, about 30 minutes north of downtown LA. Graduated from Canoga Park High School in 1999 and attended Los Angeles Pierce College for a semester and then attended University of San Diego (USD). I married Jeff in January 2003 and graduated from USD in December 2003. Studied Physics, Math, and Naval Science and performed microgravity fluids research in a weightless environment at Johnson Space Center. Commissioned as Ensign, USNR, on 20DEC 2003. Selected for flight training (pilot). |

My favorite hobby is hanging out with my amazing husband. He is the light of my life and my best times are when I am with him. I also have fun while gourmet cooking, boating, reading, hiking, gardening, travelling, flying, wine-tasting, making kids laugh, and keeping physics from becoming a thing of my past. All of these things which bring joy to my life are gifts from the wonderful God, who knows my needs and desires and in whom I trust wholeheartedly. |

My wonderful parents, my two brothers, and three sisters all live in the west San Fernando Valley. My wonderful husband, Jeff, is also a southern Californian and attended school in San Diego. He will be reporting to a submarine in Washington in June. |
