Volunteer Experience
3/98 - present: Co-founder and President of the Board of Directors for Trinoc-coN, a Triangle-wide speculative fiction conference. Created and maintain the Trinoc-coN mailing list and successfully led the three-year effort to fund, plan and stage Trinoc-coN 2000. A majority of conference planning and organizing took place via e-mail; the conference Web site played a large role in promoting the event.
8/97 - present: Founded the Research Triangle Science Fiction Society. Created its first website, maintain the current website, created and maintain the group�s email lists, locate monthly meeting space, and coordinate guest speakers and programs. Club President 1997-2001.
12/93 - 6/95: Co-founder of the Triangle Celtic Society. Composed, designed and produced monthly newsletter, coordinated monthly meetings.
