Aren't they cute!!!! This picture was taken December 2001 by yours
truly. My parents mean the world to me. I would not be the
person I am today without their love and guidance. They mean the world
to me and I love them with all of my heart! They have always been a
great source of comfort and support as I have gone through hard times in my
life. They have always supported my choice to become a teacher and
have encouraged me when I have felt uncertain of my ability. I feel so
blessed to have such loving, caring, supportive parents.

What a stud, right??? I know, I know :) He gets it from me. Mark
is a freshman at PSU and is majoring in Architectural Engineering.
Mark and I used to fight a lot when we were younger, as all siblings do, but
we've become closer as we've gotten older and I definitely consider him one
of my best friends. It's really hard being away from him while we're
both at school, but thankfully IM allows us to talk almost every day.
This is a picture of my dad's family:
This picture was taken at a family reunion. The cake is for my
grandparents, who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Seated from left to right: my grandma, Virginia; my grandpap, Fred.
Standing from left to right: my aunt, Marlene; my dad, Wayne.
This is a picture of my grandma on my mom's side.
My grandma and I have always been very close. Being away from her
while I'm at school has been hard, but we've kept in close touch through
letters and phone calls. I've always admired my grandma's outlook and
attitude towards life. I hope I can be as caring and joyful as she has
been throughout her life. She's a wonderful role model and I love her
with all of my heart!!!
