Image and Personal Style Analysis

“Personal style is being able to say no. No woman of great personal style was a fashion victim. They are woman who are very aware of their bodies, their features, and what works”      Micheal Kors

Clothes talk, even when you don’t. They speak volumes about us. What are your clothes saying? Is it what you want to hear? What qualities do you want to project when you walk into a room?

You may want to make distinctions between your personal and professional life. You may want to emphasise your efficiency and authority in the boardroom, your sexiness on evenings out and your flamboyancy at parties. Are you and your clothes speaking the same language?

If you have ever wondered why your best friend looks better in a particular outfit than you do, or why some women look good in anything, or why something you loved in the window just didn’t look right when you put it on, it’s to do with proportion.

All bodies are created differently. They are long in places, short in places, curvy in places, straight in places. Once you understand how yours is put together, you’ll be smarter and quicker about finding things that your body will wear effortlessly. It does not matter what the actual body looks like. Most of us don’t see each other naked, so we can create proportion even if we don’t have it naturally.

Wearing the wrong styles can visually change the contours of your body. They can make your face rounder, your hips bigger, and your body shorter.

When you have proportion working for you, you’re more likely to hear comments like “Did you lose weight?” or “You look great!” or “You look younger”.

You have the right to get all the information you need to really understand what works best on your body.
