About Terrylene
Terrylene is from a four generation deaf family. She's received numerous honors for her acting, creative writing and advocacy work: 1997, Best Performance, Dramalogue for Sweet Nothing in My Ear, 1996, Christopher Reeve Scholarship, The Valdez Award (Drama), 1994, "Woman of the Year" in recognition of her achievements as an equal rights advocate by the city of Los Angeles. Her creative writing honors include: The Sam Edward's Playwright Award for Unveiling the Rock, Silver Apple Award and Media Access award for Tobey Tales,
The Kennedy Center's Henry Fonda Playwright Award for Molded. Although Terrylene's first love is performance for the stage, she's been seen as a feature guest star in the TV shows: Cagney & Lacey, Beauty and the Beast (recurring role over two seasons), Doogie Howser, Pacific Blue, ER, and the new
TV program Night Visions. Her feature film credits include Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers (opposite Robert Downey Jr., as Unruly Julie), City of Angels, Legalese, and most recently AfterImage, opposite John Mellencamp and oscar winner Louise Fletcher.
