"This is understandibly the toughest announcement
I have ever had to make. We've lost Dale Earnhardt,
NASCAR President, Mike Helton said "NASCAR
has lost it's greatest driver ever."

I can't belive that the world of NASCAR as we know it is over, forever.
We have lost the greatest race car driver in the world! I am so stunned
as I sit here and type these words, I don't know what to say. Except that
my idol is gone. I was so into NASCAR, everytime I seen it on television
or caught it on the news, etc. My only care was what position that # 3 car
was in. Now there will be no more # 3. It is my hope that they will retire
the # 3 car. For there can never be another Dale Earnhardt, ever!
He was truly one of a kind and he will be forever remembered!
