Important
"STUFF"
There are a lot of things you are going to want to know for the school year.  I cannot possibly list them all on this website, but here are some of the main ones I can think of at the moment.  I will be adding information to this frequently, as the year goes on.  If there is something you would like to know, ask me!  I will be sure to let you know.  Basically, just keep checking back here for more important STUFF!
SNACKS

We realize it is difficult for students to go all morning without eating.  This is why students are permitted to bring a nutritional snack to school with them.  Please note: NUTRITIONAL snack!  Good snacks include crackers, fruit, cheese, etc.  Bad snacks include chips, candy, and other sweets.

When bringing snacks to school, be sure to place them in a disposable container which they may take with them to recess.

I will provide snacks for the first week.
LUNCH

Students will be able to purchase a school lunch or bring their own lunch from home.  If you plan to buy lunch at school on a regular basis, it is best to open a personal account through the cafeteria's computer system which will be described in your packet of materials sent home by the school on the first day.  This will help to avoid lost or stolen lunch money.
TAKE HOME FOLDER

I will be giving each student a "Take Home Folder."  Each afternoon, we will pack these folders with all the important materials, including homework or letters.  It is very important that parents check these folders every night!  Any items you want (or are asked to) return to school should be placed back into the folder.  I will collect the folders and empty its contents each morning.  It is my hope that this will make it easier for students to transport important things to and from school.
TRANSPORTATION

If a student is going home a different way, the teacher NEEDS a note confirming this, otherwise he/she will be sent home by their normal route.
