CHAPTER ELEVEN
Part X

The Beginnings

Author: Bianca The Bloody

"So.. when did you first meet?" Cassandra asked the couple. Bianca smiled and looked into her lover's eyes.

"We met at Crimson Kiss manor...before the fire. We were both new arrivals and we struck up a friendship that turned into so much more!" Bianca replied, with a dreamy look in her eyes. Thinking back on it, Bianca had so much to be thankful for, especially the existance of Crimson Kiss. If not for the manor, she would never have found her reason for existing. The love they shared was so beautiful, more so than she could ever have imagined...funny how she only just realized it at this moment. Bianca looked at her quiet companion and kissed his cheek gently. A small smile passed his lips and he discretely winked an eye at her.

Bianca looked back at Cassandra, who seemed to be watching from a lonely place. "But enough about us, I want to know about you! Where do you come from? Have you always been with the Countess, or did the two of you stumble upon one another just as Davis and I did?" Cassandra wriggled in her seat a bit and looked down into her glass of wyne before meeting her eyes with Bianca's dark impenetrable eyes. They were a mystery, even to Bianca. The young, exotic vampiress let out a sigh before answering the question...

About me

Cassandra had always been rather curious about Bianca and her partner, ever since she first saw the two of them together. It was obvious, even to those who didn't know them personally, that they deeply cared about one another, and so she gave Bianca all ears as she began to reveal their past to her.

"We met at Crimson Kiss manor...before the fire. We were both new arrivals and we struck up a friendship that turned into so much more!" Bianca replied, with a dreamy look in her eyes. Cassandra smiled. The look in her companion's eyes was one of familiarity to her.. the kind of look that she got whenever she thought about... well, Varsuviya.

Sure enough, that soon became the next topic of conversation.

"But enough about us, I want to know about you! Where do you come from? Have you always been with the Countess, or did the two of you stumble upon one another just as Davis and I did?" Cassandra wriggled in her seat a bit and looked down into her glass of wyne before meeting her eyes with Bianca's dark impenetrable ones. She let out a rather loud sigh before she answered..

"I'm afraid there's not too much to tell when it comes to me I'm afraid, my dear Bianca! I hail from England, lived there for the majority of my life before coming out here to the US. Eventually I stumbled across the manor, and it soon became my sanctuary, as I'm sure it is to all of us who reside here."

She paused slightly before going on to talk about her and the Countess Varsuviya.

"Me and Varsuviya have not always been together" she began. "When I was a newcomer to the Kiss, she was still with Lady Victoria Kiss, but I knew at first sight that I loved her as I had never loved another. She was perfect: a radiant beauty, smart, witty... in fact, she did not take too kindly to me at first. I fear she thought I was slightly annoying" she said with a laugh.

"Yet we eventually felt strongly for each other, and had our first "night of passion" together. That was when Lady Kiss and the Countess were no more, and how I found myself beside her in bed at night!" she said, a slight smile forming in the corners of her mouth.

"Yet now.. I am uncertain what the future holds for us. It seems the Countess is... I am afraid that she is tiring of me, as she did dear Victoria." Cassandra tried not to cry, she really did, but even as she told herself not to she could feel her eyes welling up.

"I told her.. how I felt about her, how much I loved her, how I couldn't afford to lose her. Yet I fear that Egyptian beauties are more her type now" she said, weeping once again, placing her hand on her mouth.

She gazed up at Bianca and her partner, hoping she was not making a complete fool of herself.

"Forgive me" she said, wiping her eyes frantically. "I did not wish for anyone to know about this.. please promise me that you will not reveal it to anyone else? I am certain my dearest love would not appreciate it."

She hoped her companions were understanding. She really hadn't meant to tell it all to anybody who would listen, but she couldn't help it! It broke her heart to think that Varsuviya was bedding with another, yet she knew she could never let her go. If she did, she could not go on any longer.. She knew she would die.

She gazed back into Bianca's impenetrable eyes and hoped she didn't think she was crazy.

"I am truly sorry" Cassandra began again "I didn't mean to ramble on like this. Forgive me.. please.."

She was surprised how much she sounded like she was pleading with her companion. She needed friends now, she did, if she had ruined this.. well, that was something else wrong with her life. She could only hope that her dear new friends would understand this..

Pining Near and Far

Author: Vampiress Belladonna

Date: 07-29-04 09:37

Belladonna's focus on her conversation with Sutter and Samantha ebbed when she saw Bianca and Davis enter the parlor. The flush lingering on Bianca's cheeks affirmed that she had proceeded to feed without Belladonna.

To add injury to insult, Bianca ignored Belladonna, and instead sat down to chat with another vampiress, a lovely dark haired woman who had not even bothered to yet introduce herself to Belladonna, the current mistress of this manor. The newcomer's deep interest in Bianca and Davis exposed itself in the way she gazed intently at them as they spoke.

She was exquisitely beautiful, and Belladonna could not suppress a flash of irrational jealousy. Her attempt to befriend Bianca had clearly backfired, although Belladonna was not sure why. Was it something Belladonna herself had done, or was Bianca simply one of those people, blessedly rare among the Kindred, who could never overcome their ingrained prejudice for heterosexuality, despite the other paths down which their own passions naturally led them.

She almost regretted having followed Bianca and Davis to bed. It had been only a momentary nostrum for her loneliness, and now she missed Dahlia more than ever. Belladonna's face revealed her desire to be elsewhere, even as she forced her eyes to remain on Sutter and Samantha as they carried on their dialogue.

Thus, Belladonna was taken aback when Sutter unexpectedly turned his attention and comments to the furnishings by the hearth.

"I see your chair," he noted simply. "I do hope that when it arrived from Tuscany you found it to be packed and shipped adequately as I did take pains to make sure the leather would not split while on its way here."

Belladonna blinked... then blinked again. In their conversation about their respective travels she should have noticed a certain commonality. It only made sense that they would know her Siress.

"You've seen Dahlia?" Belladonna asked, her face brightening. "I speak with her often on the phone, but.... Tell me. Is she well? How are her spirits?"

Cassandra pleaded for forgiveness. She felt her behavior when talking of the Countess was unacceptable. Bianca merely smiled and reached across the table for Cassandra's hand.

"My dear, Miss Belmont, it is quite all right to feel as you do. And I know how you feel, really I do. My former sire had left me for my chylde, a few years ago. It has taken a long time for me to get over it. However, unlike you, I had Davis to help me through it. He was so understanding and patient with me." Bianca turned to look at Davis. "I can never thank you enough for that, my love." She smiled at her new sire, then returned her attention to Cassandra. "Know that I will be here whenever you need me, to confide in me. I want you to consider me a friend that you can trust. Whatever you say to me, or to Davis, will remain between us." She squeezed Cassandra's hand, then let it go and rested back in her seat, against Davis' shoulder.

Cassandra wiped a tear from her cheek and smiled to Bianca. Quietly, such that only Bianca and Davis could hear her, she said, "Thank you..." Bianca nodded and it seemed for a moment, everyone was quiet.

Bianca looked about the room to see the other Kindred that had arrived in the manner. Her gaze caught with Belladonna's for a moment. Was that jealousy in her eyes? Bianca had not meant to ignore the Mistress completely when they entered the parlor, but she had been so intrigued by the exotic beauty seated across from her now that she hadn't really noticed anyone else in the room, besides her lover by her side. Bianca flashed an almost mischevious smile at the Mistress of the Manor and turned her attention back to Cassandra.

"My dear, have you been properly introduced to our Mistress?" Bianca asked, nudging her elbow into Davis' side. He looked at her, almost scornfully, but Bianca kept the smile on her face.

"I saw her when Varsuviya and I entered the manor, but we had not introduced ourselves..." Cassandra explained.

"Well then! We must do something about that!" Bianca stood from her chair and took Cassandra's hand in hers to stand her up. This was the first time Bianca had a chance to get a good look at the young vampiress. She certainly was beautiful. Any man or woman that wouldn't want her would have to be crazy! Davis let out a sigh, then stood to join the women.

Keeping hold of Cassandra's hand, Bianca took her free arm and wrapped it around Davis' waist, and pasted on a smile. "Come my love...let's have a bit of fun, huh? Please smile..." she whispered in Davis' ear. A grin slowly formed on Davis' mouth as he slowly got the idea of what Bianca had been planning.

The three Kindred made their way across the room towards the Mistress Belladonna. They came to stand beside Belladonna and two other Kindred she had been pretending to converse with while watching Bianca closely.

"Pardon the intrusion, Mistress, but I was just informed that Miss Belmont here has not been properly introduced to you. Cassandra," she said, urging the exotic beauty closer to Belladonna. "This is The Vampiress Belladonna, Mistress of Crimson Kiss Manor." Cassandra timidly smiled and nodded her head in greeting. Belladonna returned the smile.

"Pleasure to meet you, Cassandra..." Belladonna seemed to be gritting her teeth in the greeting. Bianca released Cassandra's hand and wrapped her arms completely around Davis, yet still standing to face Belladonna. As Davis began to get the idea, he turned his head and kissed Bianca's jaw line tenderly.

"You're quite the little minx, my love," he whispered, so as only Bianca could hear. Bianca's smile broadened in agreement.

"Seems you have quite a busy parlor tonight, Mistress...we weren't keeping you from you duties earlier, now were we?" Bianca asked, hinting at their exploits earlier in the evening. She was having fun. She wasn't doing it to be spiteful to Belladonna, she just wanted to get a rise out of the Mistress...and was apparently succeeding...

Cassandra felt such a relief when Bianca comforted her with a most warming speech. She obviously hadn't thought any less of her, and Cassandra was truly grateful for that.

"I can never thank you enough for that, my love." She smiled gently at him before returning her attention to Cassandra.

"Know that I will be here whenever you need me, to confide in me. I want you to consider me a friend that you can trust. Whatever you say to me, or to Davis, will remain between us." She squeezed Cassandra's hand, then let it go and rested back in her seat, against Davis' shoulder.

"Thank you.." Cassandra whispered. Bianca was so kind.. she couldn't have asked for a better companion that evening.

Bianca's gaze soon wondered across the room, however, to a strikingly beautiful young woman. Cassandra even forgot her own lover for a mere moment while gazing at the young lady.

"My dear, have you been properly introduced to our Mistress?" Bianca asked her. Cassandra returned her attention to Bianca.

So that was who she was, Mistress Belladonna! Cassandra remembered her now. She had seen her before, that much was true, but had a proper introduction.. not quite.

"I saw her when Varsuviya and I entered the manor, but we had not introduced ourselves..." Cassandra explained.

"Well then! We must do something about that!" Bianca stood from her chair and took Cassandra's hand in hers to stand her up. Cassandra was a little shaken up by the whole ordeal, but agreed of course. What harm could be done if she was introduced to the "lady of the house"?

They soon made their way across the room and eventually reached Mistress Belladonna herself. She was very beautiful, Cassandra thought, then again, she assumed that everyone thought that. After all, she was the Mistress of the manor.

"Pardon the intrusion, Mistress, but I was just informed that Miss Belmont here has not been properly introduced to you. Cassandra," Bianca said, urging her closer to Belladonna. "This is The Vampiress Belladonna, Mistress of Crimson Kiss Manor." Cassandra timidly smiled and nodded her head in greeting. Belladonna returned the smile.

"Pleasure to meet you, Cassandra..." Belladonna replied. Cassandra was uncertain what she was supposed to do around this woman, so she simply continued to smile. It seemed Belladonna was focusing on Bianca anyway, as she felt her companion's hand release her own and wrap her arms completely around Davis.

"You must forgive me for not introducing myself before, Mistress" Cassandra began to Belladonna. "I was rather busy with the Countess Varsuviya, you see.. but now.. well, I have some time to myself. It is an honour, Mistress, truly" Cassandra finished. She couldn't tell if Belladonna was paying attention to her or not, but she continued to give her a friendly smile nonetheless.

"Seems you have quite a busy parlor tonight, Mistress" Bianca said to Belladonna. "We weren't keeping you from you duties earlier, now were we?" Bianca asked. If Cassandra didn't know better, she would have guessed that Bianca was hinting at something that had happened earlier that evening, but she didn't think on it for too long. She simply sat there and smiled some more.. after all, what else was there to do?

The Truth about Wolves...

Author: Ava Montgomery

Date: 07-29-04 13:07

Everything happened so quickly. The man tripped and stupidly, I lended a hand to help. Thats when he slapped the pistol out of my hand and that was basically the last thing I remembered. I was out cold. My mind began to wander on its own. It seemed like my life was passing before my eyes, I wonder if this is how Joe felt before he died.

I slowly began to regain consiousness. My head and stomach was killing me. I reached around to try to find my pistol, but all I could feel was the cold ground that I laid on. Thats when I heard the low growl of the wolves. They were getting closer, but try as I might I couldn't power myself to move. I tried to move my head around to see where my pistol had landed. If the wolves were to come around I would still have something to help fight them off, at least until I could get back to my car to grab the rifle.

Laying my head back on the ground I could hear the gallops of the wolves...turning my head, I found the pistol and started to try to crawl to it. Barely making it, I cocked the gun and laid waiting, trying to get myself to move. My legs killed me, but slowly I could feel them coming around...but it was to late to run now, the wolves were already upon me.

Wandering Thoughts...No True Answer

Author: Vampiress Violet

Date: 07-29-04 14:56

Violet nodded slightly to Belladonna as the other vampiress turned her attention to the new entrants into the room and was gifted with such a beautiful item. Violet's gaze then shifted to Narcissa. "Welcome back Violet." The words brought a smile to the vampiress' lips as she crossed the room and gently embraced Narcissa briefly before falling back a pace or two.

"Of all the people that I have missed, it is quite possible you are the one I missed the most." Narcissa's words brought another smile to Violet's lips, but Violet had a feeling that there was one that Narcissa perhaps still missed.

"And I you Narcissa. Pray tell, did Guillaume return with you, or did he send you ahead alone like I did Laura?" The question was posed before Violet would think of answering Narcissa's last request.

She placed a hand upon Narcissa's and pulled the younger Vampiress toward her and a seat near the hearth. She accepted her refilled goblet of bloodwyne from Briant, as well as one for Narcissa, and handed her the second goblet. "Drink my friend. To the renewal of a friendship and the continuance of our sanctuary."

Violet lifted her own glass in toast, waiting for Narcissa to do the same before she would drink of the potent liquid within the vessel.

"As for what I've been doing for the past five years...I've been traveling a bit, showing Laura a bit of the world. Spending time with both she and Union...since my heart belongs to both of them entirely. I am saddened though that Union did not return with Laura and I. Though I had actually intedend on being gone a bit longer than I actually was." Violet took a sip of her wine and set the goblet upon her knee and sighed a bit.

"I miss Union, no doubt of that, but perhaps it is best that he did not return with me because of the hostility that he created during the last days of the old sanctuary. He is definately an interesting paradox, and he was a challenge for me to understand at times, but I loved and still do love him more than ever."

Violet's eyes trailed toward the fire and she seemed to loose her self in her thoughts for a few moments before the gentle hand of Narcissa's on her own brought her back to the present day. "Narcissa...I truly hope that your time with Guillaume is never lost...that you do not have to endure the pain that I have in my just over two centuries wandering this earth."

With that Violet fell silent, eyes slipping closed for a few moments.

SCREAMING

Author: Countess Varsuviya Ignatious

Date: 07-29-04 15:47

Yvain had agreed to make amends, which for a transitory period, brought me great relief. Although she had scarcely returned my pleasant smile, there was a regal, majestic aura about her person, her body language, the very way her dark and thoughtful eyes searched deeply through my bleak immortal soul. I found myself glancing away because of the power of her eyes...even finding that my heart even skipped a beat when she removed her hand from my promising grasp.

She wandered back inside not long after I had led her into the dimly illuminated hallway. I did not follow.

I found myself in a conflict within me. One half of me wanted out of this sickening interlude of drama and supernatural conflict.True, I loved and adored Amneris but by the Gods how could I possibly help her if the true enemy that so weakened her in every sense of the word existed BENEATH her very flesh? Would I have to tear her sienna skin from her bones to find the evil that lived inside of her? What could I do? I felt powerless, greatly weakened...as if I was Amneris, without resolve, without determination. I stood in the quiet hallway, my back against the closed door that led to Amneri's exotic chamber and closed my eyes.

Soon my head began to spin. Faster, ever faster. I found that the very ground was being drawn out from beneath my bare feet.

And then, suddenly, I threw my arms up in the air and began to SCREAM!

Oh,GODS, I thought, My mother's curse.

And then, darkness.....

I had last felt this way when Amneris and I had made love hours and hours ago. Now the feeling had returned, but in entirely different and more violent form. There was nothing pleasurable about this at all, I realized, as I dropped to my knees and seized my head with both palms. Gods, why wouldn't the dizzying sensation subside?

Establishing Relationships

Author: Vampiress Belladonna

Date: 07-30-04 09:17

"Seems you have quite a busy parlor tonight, Mistress," Bianca purrs to Belladonna after interrupting her conversation with Sutter and Samantha in order to introduce Cassandra. "We weren't keeping you from your duties earlier, now were we?"

Bianca's expression betrayed her. The pyretic passion they'd shared earlier still burned in her eyes. Whatever had caused her to exclude Belladonna from her hunt no longer troubled her.

Belladonna looked inquisitively at Davis, and he beamed with amusement.

Belladonna still did not understand what had happened, but she perceived that Bianca and Davis had come to terms with the place Belladonna had taken in their lives. Belladonna realized she still had to determine exactly what that place was to be, but that detail did not much matter. She had found new friends with whom she could enjoy the relaxed familiarity of lovers. They could not fill the deep pit in her soul that her separation from Dahlia had left, but having them near would at least cover it over.

But then how did Cassandra, and Bianca's apparent affection for her, fit in? Bianca had said that Belladonna was the first woman with whom she had ever made love. Belladonna examined the newcomer's compellingly dark eyes.

Cassandra's countenance showed nothing but the polite attention of a guest meeting her hostess. If any subtleties underlaid her inclusion in this meeting, Belladonna wouldn't discover them on Cassandra's lovely face. Belladonna decided to explore the issue further, and determine just how Cassandra and Bianca felt about each other.

"Keep me from my duties?" Belladonna echoed Bianca's question, and answered it in such a way as to ensure all listening understood to what the beautiful vampiress had been referring. "It's all a matter of priorities my Darling. Surely, everyone understands my desire to make such a special guest as you so happy, and besides, who could blame me for slipping away for an hour of privacy in such pleasing company as yours!"

Belladonna paused just long enough to let that sink into everyone's consciousness, then smiled sweetly as she introduced Cassandra, Bianca and Davis to Sutter and Samantha. After the usual pleasantries were exchanged, Belladonna directed the conversation to her immediate interest.

"Sutter and I were just discussing common friends," Belladonna explained. "Tell us, Cassandra, how do you know Bianca and Davis?"

Love Conquers All

Author: Bianca The Bloody

Date: 07-30-04 11:00

"Tell us, Cassandra, how do you know Bianca and Davis?" Belladonna asked, addressing Cassandra after introducing them all to Sutter and Samantha. She seemed to choke on her words a moment. Bianca didn't know whether she should step in or not.

"Well..." Bianca started. Cassandra looked at her as if she was capable of answering her own questions. Bianca smiled and nodded.

"I was introduced to Bianca when the Countess and I arrived." Cassandra stated. Belladonna nodded her head in understanding.

"And I saw her sitting down here by herself when Davis and I came down..." Bianca finished. Belladonna seemed to have a hint of jealousy in her when it came to Bianca and Cassandra. Bianca looked to her lover to see his smile had faded, yet he was still enthralled in the conversation.

"I see..." Belladonna said quietly.

Bianca examined the Kindred next to Belladonna. Sutter Kane and Samantha Bouvier. Sutter was quite handsome. There was something mysterious about his looks, Bianca just couldn't put her finger on it. There was just something about him. Samantha, a beautiful creature, seemed to have a very dignified air about her. Something Bianca always admired in anyone.

Turning her attention back to the Mistress, Bianca smiled a mischevious smile. Seemed her little plan wasn't working...yet. She would have to try a bit harder. She loved to see Belladonna's reactions. "Mistress," Bianca began, knowing how much it excited Belladonna to be called that in bed. "Did you get your chance to go out yet this evening?" she asked. Belladonna shot a quick glance at Bianca...almost angry at first, then it eased into a solemn smile.

"No I have not...I was in the parlor here greeting the guests...and what about yourself?" Belladonna asked.

"Oh yes! I've had my fill of the hunt for the evening. It was actually quite fun going out on my own..." Bianca said. Davis seemed to be getting a little annoyed with the conversation. He sighed and seemed to turn his attention to the rest of the Kindred in the room. Bianca glanced at Davis, then back to Belladonna, then again back at Davis. "My darling...what is it?" she whipsered in his ear.

"Oh, nothing...what were you saying?" he asked, quickly turning his attention back to the group.

"Nothing of importance, I suppose. Just the events of the evening." Bianca explained. A feral grin passed Davis' mouth as he though of the sexual exploits the three vampires had shared.

"Ah...yes..." he said slowly.

"So, Belladonna, Cassandra," Bianca said to both women. "Perhaps the four of us could...get together some night?" she asked smiling. She winked at Belladonna, a playful and enticing wink. A foursome would definitely be a different swing than the pleasuring threesome Bianca had experienced. Her favorite were the nights when it was just she and Davis, but she was still young. She wanted to experiment with all the partners she could...but that didn't mean she loved Davis less. She wanted to share these experiences with him...and in the end it will always be her and Davis. Love really did conquer all!

Damiana's expression changes with the approaching racket of at least two humans.

"They're heading straight for us," Laura observes, relying on her heightened predatory senses. "Do you think we're being followed?"

Shouts and a ruckus in the dry leaves of the forest floor preempts Damiana's reply. By the time Damiana and Laura reach the source of the disturbance, they find a half-dozen growling wolves, legs straight and fur bristling on arched backs, surrounding a person laying on the ground.

"Move away!" Laura snarls in a tone Violet taught her. The pack obeys, giving the Vampiresses their first clear view of their intended victim.

The young woman's face shows neither surprise nor relief at these strangers' seemingly fortuitous arrival. Perhaps she instinctively senses the threat from predators hasn't abated. Laura takes no notice of the cocked gun held in the girl's trembling hand.

"My oh my!" Laura chuckles. "What have we here? It seems the wolves appreciated us bring them dinner and decided to return the favor."

Laura licks her lips. "Actually, Damiana, I'm already stuffed. Would you like to dine now, or wrap it up and save it for later?"

Extending Relationships

Author: Vampiress Belladonna

Date: 07-31-04 06:58

"So, Belladonna, Cassandra," Bianca's voice dropped huskily. "Perhaps the four of us could... get together some night?"

Bianca's tone and expression convinced Belladonna she was not teasing this time, and the twinkle in Davis' eye confirmed he was pleased with the proposal.

Under most circumstances, Belladonna might have been shocked, even repulsed, by Bianca's brazenness. But after her own public declaration of their prior lovemaking, Belladonna could hardly fault Bianca's manners. Besides, Belladonna found it flattering. Bianca had shown some initial reluctance about sharing her bed with a woman, but her professed desire for Belladonna to return, and with yet another woman, assured Belladonna she had proven a masterful and enticing lover. Of course, Belladonna had the benefit of learning about love from Dahlia, with her countless millennia's experience.

On those rare occasions when Dahlia had invited others into their bed, it had usually been couples. Even numbers work better between the sheets, she had explained, because no one need be left out at any time. So if Belladonna was to continue sleeping with Bianca and Davis, then adding a fourth playmate should only enhance the fun.

And Belladonna had to admit that despite just meeting her, the thought of intimacy with Cassandra excited her. The contrast between the vampiress' demure elegance and the deep passion reflected in her impossibly brown eyes made Belladonna tingle in all the best places. So, even as she answered Bianca's proposition, Belladonna turned to face Cassandra.

"That's a kind invitation, Bianca," Belladonna replied softly, her gaze searching Cassandra's lovely face for reaction. "And I hope Cassandra won't think me too forward if I agree that I would welcome the opportunity to come to know her that well. I already recognize that we are honored by her presence in this manor."

For what seemed like forever to Belladonna, Cassandra showed no reaction.

Belladonna began to wonder if she simply thought this was mere politesse, and did not recognize that she and Bianca were serious in their seductive intent. So to emphasize her point, but in a purposely ambiguous gesture, Belladonna reached out and gently set her fingertips on the side of Cassandra's bare arm.

Games Vampires Play

Author: Sutter Kane

Date: 07-31-04 08:26

Sutter smiled and listened to the tête-à-tête as it was played out from the lips of Cassandra and then Bianca herself. And as the verbal ping pong match went on that was so cleverly disguised as a conversation of sorts, if it could really be called that, Sutter smiled all the more. He was however more interested in, and readily followed the undercurrents of the "conversation." After all, it didn't take a rocket scientist to know that by the exchange of words, body language and looks that ran across the faces before him that there was more being said then what was being said verbally.

At some point Belladonna introduced Samantha and Sutter to Bianca, Davis and Cassandra and it was at this point that Sutter instinctively reached out to hold Samantha's hand and pull her close to him. She in turn wrapped one arm around his while still holding his hand. Sutter took the opportunity at this point to study the Kindred before him.

Belladonna was a beauty to behold by any standard and thus Sutter understood why Dahlia had brought her across and loved her so. While at Dahlia's Sanctuary he had seen Belladonna's picture more then a few times and thus when he first laid eyes on her only moments before he recognized her right off. But the pictures did not do her the justice of seeing her in person.

Bianca was another beauty that had an air of mischievous about her, and although a mischievous side was entertaining at times, it could be tiresome also. Sutter thought he might have to limit his exposure to Bianca but then the thought struck him that when he was a young vampire, and by some standards he was still an infant, that he had been much the same as she seemed to be now: carefree. And when she looked at him for a moment, he smiled to her in a charmingly disarming manner.

Davis seemed to be the man with Bianca at the moment, not that Sutter would ever care about such trifle issues, but he did make a mental note of it none the less. And like all the other Kindred present, he was beautiful in his own way with his rugged good looks. And when Davis looked at Sutter briefly, Sutter looked him directly in the eye and nodded his acknowledgement to the man.

Cassandra was yet another beauty on display before all the Kindred gathered in the parlor. He could tell right off she was from somewhere in England. Yet she seemed a bit taken-a-back for some reason as Belladonna spoke to her and it was then that Sutter could feel the sadness coming from her in waves, How sad.. he thought to himself. Yet what could he do?

All in all, it was turning out to be quite an interesting evening as he looked at the gathering of Kindred about him. And then the thought struck him and he wondered about Belladonna's earlier question about Dahlia He decided that when there was a more suitable time he would speak to Belladonna and at that time relay the message he had been sent with.

"So, Belladonna, Cassandra," Bianca said to both women. "Perhaps the four of us could...get together some night?"

Sutter could not help himself as he laughed under his breath the games vampires play.

Catching up with an old friend

Author: Vampiress Narcissa

Date: 07-31-04 10:45

She had greeted Violet warmly, the both of them embracing in a hug as Violet pulled her away from the gathering crowd. Bianca, Davis and Cassandra had all come down from their respective suites to greet one another, catch up, and even meet new faces like Sutter and Samantha. She was glad she had met them first, getting to know them both a bit more was an adventure in itself, but she was truly glad to see Violet. She beemed a bit more as Violet returned the greeting.

"No, Guillaume needed to stay at his manor in England and take care of open business. I guess there is some land management issues...Parliment wants to buy some of his land to develop a freeway and he, along with some of the countrymen want to keep it rural. I mean, either way, progress is going to steam through everything, so I figured he would negotiate the price and come back here. At least he would still have his house and just lose some parcels of land."

She shrugged a bit as Violet seemed a bit interested, although she could not tell how deeply. She wished Guillaume could be with her, at this very moment, holding her hand and explaining their travels to Violet, but she was starting to relax without his presence as more familiar faces poured into the home. Violet started to speak of her travels with Laura and Union...that name again..and she winced a bit. In a way, she was glad Union didn't return to the Kiss as she had no idea what would happen if she were to see him again and no idea if he would end up doing more then just pinning her to the ground with a warning snarl.

"I think it wise that Union didn't come back here. It's a shame that his kind and our kind don't mix. You are about the only vampiress I know that has a clear grip on what both lupine and kindred need. It's almost as if you were half lupine yourself."

She grinned at that as she took a long sip of her wyne, watching Violets eyes to see if perhaps that statement may ring true at all. After all, Violet seemed to be the only woman, the only one at all, that knew how to keep a handle on the lupine sort. She nodded sagely as Violet spoke of Guilllaume, knowing her beloved sire would soon join them. It was just a matter of him weeding through red tape at home to get what he wanted, and she knew he was very clever and wary when it came to dealing with mortals.

"Speaking of those we love, where is Laura tonight? I haven't seen her here yet, but I sense she is near. Is she out hunting or something?"

Her gaze traveled to the gathering of women, Davis, and the subtle amused look upon Sutters face as he watched the playful women speaking with one another. She raised a brow and looked back to Violet. She had no urges to play such flirtateous games, although her body was craving a warm body for the night when the sun came upon them.

Attentions lost, then caught again

Back down to the parlor they went, hand in hand as they entered the massive room that seemed to have its own areas broken away from each other. There were many rooms within this room, seated areas that were lit by candle light, their own appeal of comfort with the exquisite decor chosen for them. French? Spanish? Perhaps a mix of many styles as his dark gaze took in the features of the room. But there was Mistress Belladonna, already in conversation with a strange man and his apparent consort, perhaps chylde and sire as they stayed close with each other. He offered them both a nod in greeting as Bianca pulled him along to carry on conversation with Cassandra and the mistress. She had become a social butterfly over the years, crawling out of her shell of depression she was once lodged in when he first met her, emerging as a colorful creature that illuminated her beauty with each passing night. He stook stoic and silent as she spoke with a teasing tone towards Cassandra and Belladonna alike, his mind wandering away as the pleasantries and flirting continued between the women. His dark gaze focused on Belladonna who seemed a bit displaced by the conversation Bianca seemed to be having with Cassandra, having just shared their bed only a few hours ago.

But Bianca was refreshed from her outing into the woods, and he, himself had calmed during that time, allowing Bianca to spread her wings again in this manor, sharing the beauty the other vampiresses had to offer. Normally they had shared their bed with mortals, affections and pleasures exchanged throughout the night, until both were nearly starving for the mortal blood, and then, they would feast until the sun rose. But now, they were with their own kind, and it was a concept he would readily need to embrace...his beloved Bianca sharing their bed with other women. But, what if she wished to share with another man? The line would have to be drawn there. His gaze moved on to Sutter and Samantha as they watched Bianca with a smile, evaluating her language, her voluptuous body, even her subtle hinting words. He could tell Sutter was a well mannered man and was probably watching this as he would watch some kind of show, merely watching and staying away from the spotlight. He again offered Sutter a nod of his head until Bianca asking him if something was wrong. Again his attentions were only half on her conversation as he answered, but her next statement to Cassandra and Belladonna caught his ears full on. "Perhaps the four of us could...get together some night?"

That statement was something that caught him by surprise. To share their bed with one vampiress was a fantasy for any man, but to share it with two? Well, that certainly brought a smile to his lips. Bianca was in control now, and he would merely play along with whatever she wanted. Of course, she implored within him her love only for him, but her lusts for both he and the other vampiresses was a hunger he could not quench alone. And to have the company of such beautiful women to sate his own needs was something this vampire would surely not contest.

Welcome homecoming?

Author: Tricia

Date: 07-31-04 16:20

Tricia walks quickly through the darkened grounds to the new Sanctuary, smiling even thought she is not sure the type of welcome she will receive from her Mistress Narcissa, in the 5 years that she had been serving her Mistress Narcissa and her Master Guillaume, she had occasionally annoyed her Master with her occasional sparks of independence rare thought they were as she was almost the perfect servant doing as she was commanded and reveling in her occasional releases of Sexual tension although never complete were now what she craved. Once she was made aware that her Mistress and Master were Kindred and her friend Laura as well, Tricia was so infused with essence she no longer cared that staying with them would be the total end of the Tricia she once knew. But her mind was wandering...... she thought back to the reason for her being near the door of the new sanctuary alone and not with her master, still flinching and feeling the sting of her masters hand on her cheek. Tricia had been taking notes at a meeting regarding the sale of some of Guillaume's land and as her laptop was malfunctioning, she was using a pad of paper and a pen. Guillaume had been unusually agitated and had asked her to read back what he had just said, and just as she started to read she sneezed and her hand knocked over her drink right on to the pad the ink running and the words now unreadable. Tricia apologized profusely and attempted to save the notes. Guillaume quietly ordered her from the room to await him in the study, his voice like ice. After he had sent the other land owners away advising that he would get back to them in 2 days with all the information, he came into the library. Tricia had been perched on the divan awaiting his appearance with trepidation as she had not seen him this angry with her in a long time. When he started to speak Tricia interrupted him saying, " I am very sorry I ruined the notes but I am sure that I can remember everything you and the others said enough to rewrite them." and just as she finished he moved so quickly to slap her face telling her in no uncertain terms that if she did not leave and go immediately to her Mistress she would not live to displease him again. He advised that her tickets for her flights and other transportation were taken care of and she had 1 hour to get her things together before the car left for the airport. Tricia moved quickly to go to her room to pack and was waiting for the car within 45 minutes. When the driver opened the door to admit her to the car, Tricia looked up to the window of the Library, she saw Guillaume look down at her as if she wasn't there. Tricia quickly got in the car and as it pulled away she counted herself lucky that he had not chosen to end her service permanently. At least she was going to see her Mistress and perhaps she could make her want to keep her for a little longer. It had been a hazy trip to the airport and the flight had been uneventful. Then the car from the airport had instructions to drop her at a designated point in the woods. Tricia knew without being told that she was near Sanctuary, having been with her Master and Mistress so long. She came back to present just as she came unerringly to the front door and knocked, waiting for Briant to admit her, her senses tingling knowing that her Mistress was inside.
