~*Dahlia slowly becomes aware of the absense of strong arms wrapped around her. She shifts slightly in her half-awake state, hoping to feel the glide of Belle's smooth flesh against her. But instead...she feels something quite different. Hands gently press down on her thighs, holding her still while a talented mouth moves up and down the sensitive flesh between her thighs.*~

"Gods..." she moans as she feels Belle's small tongue flick over her clit. "Mmmmm..."

~*Belle licks slow circles around the spot where she needs her most, teasing her most deliciously. She slips one finger into her and Dahlia obediantly rides it, thrusting her hips against her face again and again. Belle finally takes pity on her, settling her mouth over her clit and hollowing her cheeks to apply a great amount of pressure. Dahlia bites down on her lip, hands twisting in the bedsheets as she feels the familiar tingle begin to spread up from her toes, over her quivering thighs and straight to the core of her very being.*~

"Belle!" she cries, her entire body shaking violently as tremors rack her body.

~*Sometime, and many, many orgasms later, on both ends...Belle and Dahlia lay snuggled together on top of the bare mattress, sheets long gone.*~

"So," Dahlia murmurs to her lover, stroking her hair. "Think it's about time we made an appearance?"

~*Belle groans dramatically, dropping her head down onto Dahlia's shoulder as though exhausted.*~

"Sure. Once my legs start working."

~*They laugh and kiss, giving a few more loving caresses and tickles before rising from the bed to dress. Dahlia looks over at Belle's petite form, sliding her gaze down the smooth, pale legs and flat, yet soft stomach...lingering on her small, full breasts. Gods, but she was a vision. And she was hers.*~

~*They dress quickly, completely spent yet not completely able to avoid temptation if they lingered. Dahlia smiles as Belle takes her place at her side and offers her hand. She takes it and brushes her thumb over her knuckles.*~

"Let's face the music, then." she grins, happier than she'd been in a very long while.

"Guillaume... I love you so much!" Narcissa's cry of sensual and emotional fulfillment echoes across the lake, and she collapses on top of Guillaume, her panting breath hot against his neck.

Her proclamation saves him from needing to address the other sentiments she expressed in the throes of their lovemaking. He recognizes that Narcissa harbors cravings far more sinister and deadly that the lascivious games they have played together so far. Guillaume is shocked not only by the cruelly perverse desires Narcissa betrayed in her passionate abandon, but also by his own mixed reactions to hearing her speak of them. He knows he will need to confront these issues soon, but for the moment, he decides to ignore them.

For now he can concentrate on far sweeter considerations... Narcissa's hair spilled across his shoulder... Her full breasts pressing against his chest... The points of her hips resting on his own... Her feet playfully stroking his ankles....

It astounds Guillaume to realize that although he has only known Narcissa a few nights, in eight hundred years of life he has never felt so perfectly comfortable with a woman, nor so needful of her touch and companionship. He surrenders willingly to the inescapable conclusion.

"Yes... You... I love you, too, my darling," Guillaume confesses in a hoarse whisper. "I love you more than anything I could ever imagine."

She became aware of herself again, but slowly. She stopped manipulating the flames and let them die as she prepared to leave the room. Noting the state of her blouse and hair, she straightened her clothes, swiped (inefectually) at her hair a couple of times with her hands, wiped her face and prepared to leave the room. The shoes had gotten uncomfortable when her hands and feet had changed, so she took them off.

The Selkie walked to the door, not sure of how she would be recieved by the people in the house below, (with her all-black eyes, and webbed hands and feet she certainly wouldn't look like any of them,) and after a brief moment of trepidation, (she decided she was more hungry than she was anxious about what these people might think,) she reached for the doorknob.

And couldn't turn it. At first, her hand just slid around it, and she fiurged it had been locked. But she couldn't find a lockplate, so she tried again. This time the knob turned completely around. The door didn't open. When she tried a third time, she could have shouted in triumph. The door opened, she stepped through....

And was back in the room she had just left.

The room had been sealed.

More angry at herself than at the Witches (who must have been the ones to do the binding spell,) she let out an incoherent shreik, and banged her forehead into the door a couple of times. She'd have to figure out a way to pry herself out of the mess she was in.

And she'd have to do it on an empty stomach.

Dahlia and Belle enter the parlor hand-in-hand and smile-to-smile. After lingering so long in bed together, it surprises them to find the room almost vacant. The bard Ian sits in his usual corner, softly strumming his mandolin. The butler, Briant, stands at a sideboard, already filling two goblets from a flagon of bloodwyne.

Dahlia and Belle sit together on the sofa facing the roaring fire. Briant steps forward to hand them their drinks. "Good evening, Madam," he greets Dahlia. "And Miss," he adds to Belle.

"Sir Guillaume and Miss Narcissa left the Manor nearly two hours ago," the butler replies to the stern silent question on Dahlia's face. "I believe they wanted to have... ur... to have a walk. Also, several witches have arrived, claiming Sanctuary, but they...." Briant rolls his eyes, leaving no doubt as to his opinion of witches.

"Thank you, Briant," Dahlia responds in way of dismissal, staring into the fire.

Belle turns to face her lover, affectionately wrapping her hands around Dahlia's upper right arm. Dahlia's disappointment at having no group of guests with whom to share her gregarious mood is manifest in her expression and posture.

"I imagine Guillaume and Narcissa will return soon," Belle assures her, and, after a dramatic and facetious sigh, adds playfully, "Until then, I suppose you will just have to suffer through still having only me for company."

::She lays on top of him letting elated gasps escape her lips. After a few moments laying on top of him and enjoying his embrace in a soft moment, she closes her eyes and lets out one last gasp. Normally, in her human state she would merely roll away from him and fall asleep, exhausted from hours of lovemaking. Instead, she finds herself renewed from the release of so much energy, and again finds herself invigorated. Perhaps it was their chemistry together mixed with the crisp night air, but she felt a strong urge to dive into the water before them. She stands up on the rock and flips her hair back combing her fingernails through her hair. Her perfectly curved body is silouetted by the large moon rising in the sky. She stands in silence for a moment, reflecting on her most recent outburst professing her love for Guillaume. She is thankful not to be facing him right now, as she wonders if he really loves her, or if he was merely returning the affections due to the heat of the moment. She is a bit embarrassed at the fact she actually pronounced her love for him, being as they've only known each other a few days, but it certainly seems so real. She stretches, then crouches back down on the rock moving her eyes towards the house again.::

"Guillaume.... Please explain vampire emotions to me." Narcissa suggests. Guillaume notices that she avoids meeting his eyes, and suspects that she too is shocked by the violent desires she expressed while succumbing to the intense passions of their lovemaking. "One moment I feel so completely devoted to you and loving, and the next moment, I want to find a victim and tear out their throat with my bare hands. It's as if my mind can't settle on one feeling for long."

Guillaume stretches on the flat boulder they have been using as a makeshift bed. Fledgling vampires typically suffer uncontrollable emotional turmoil during at least their first few days of transition. Guillaume is prepared to be patient.

"That's because you have suddenly gone from being a social, omnivorous human," he explains, "to now being a pure predator, whose inherent instincts are to stalk her prey selfishly and solitarily."

He notes her staring intensely at the house up the shoreline. The evening breeze has died, but the scent of the two women inside remains in the air.

"But for tonight, my dear," he reminds her, "we are not hunting. Our only purpose at that house is to apprize ourselves of the condition of Belladonna's mortal friend, and to sip... just sip... from her companion to bring her under our influence. Then we must return to Crimson Kiss and discuss the situation with Dahlia and Belladonna." He sees Narcissa slump slightly, and wonders what else she might have had in mind.

"But don't worry, Darling," he concludes, not wanting her to feel disappointment on this so-far ideal evening. "I am confident you will soon have plenty of opportunities to test your new nature and those cravings which you ultimately determine it truly rouses in you."

From: Laura_Junius

Tricia and Laura are so engrossed swapping stories about their own most daring places to have made love, that they don't notice the renewed silence outside. They are laughing somewhat breathlessly together about an adventure Laura once had under a bridge. Then they stop when they hear a forceful knock at the front door.

"Maybe it's Belle!" Laura exclaims with a smile as she jumps up from the dining room table.

"Why would she knock?" Tricia reminds her, and is immediately stung by the disappointment she sees falling across Laura's face.

Nonetheless, Laura hurries to the door and throws it open. She finds a couple standing on the porch. She has little doubt that they are the two lakeside lovers who so recently and noisily caught her attention.

The man is tall and trim, with black hair graying at the temples. He wears well-tailored hiking clothes, now somewhat mussed by his recent outdoor activities. The woman appears young enough to be his daughter, but given their just-ended public displays of affection, certainly is not. She stands behind him, out of the circle of the porch light, but Laura cannot help but notice her full mane of wild red hair. Laura guesses she must be a biker in her black leather vest over a black mesh shirt. Her cut-off jeans are remarkable short, leaving her shapely legs bare down to her boots. Laura finds it hard to believe that such a refined looking gentleman would have such a woman as a partner, and immediately assumes the worst about both of them.

It occurs to Laura that she has been standing there scowling at them for far too long.

"How may I help you?" Laura asks coldly.

"I am Sir Guillaume FitzHenry, and this is the Lady Narcissa. We were hiking along your beautiful lake here and grew thirsty. We were hoping you might provide us a sip..." Despite the mundane nature of his request, he chuckles as if he had made a profound pun. "A sip of water."

"We should get to that house and take care of business before it's too late," Narcissa reminds Guillaume, nodding toward the large lakeside residence containing Belladonna's mortal friend and her companion. "I'll let you do all the talking, Guillaume. I'd hate to give away our surprise. I'm actually a little nervous about this too. What if they know what we are?"

"There are ways for us to deal with that," he chuckles. "We have various capabilities that help us control mortals, powers that you will develop in good time. And you needn't worry about your conscience, my dear. The uses we make of mortals are not a matter of ethics. We are predators; they are prey. Should a wolf feel guilt when it does what comes naturally and slays a deer? Of course not! It is simply nature's way.... And so it is with us and humans."

They walk hand-in-hand, enjoying the intimate comfort of each other's company as they approach the house. They hear women's voices and laughter inside as they climb the porch steps. Guillaume knocks on the heavy front door.

It opens a moment later, revealing a slender women in her late teens or early twenties. One sniff of her and Guillaume knows she is the one already infused with Belladonna's essence. She is uncommonly pretty (although not quite equaling Narcissa's unique and astonishing beauty), with long hair similar in tone, but lighter in shade, than Narcissa's; more of a strawberry blonde to Narcissa's deeper red. The girl's blue eyes flash as she glowers at them.

"How may I help you?" she asks, her voice dripping ice. Guillaume smiles, knowing how quickly her attitude toward them will change.

"I am Sir Guillaume FitzHenry," the vampire replies, "and this is the Lady Narcissa. We were hiking along your beautiful lake here and grew thirsty."

Guillaume locks his gaze into the girl's, and stares deeply into her eyes as he continues. "We were hoping you might provide us a sip..." He smirks, realizing that a slight pause will humor Narcissa with their private joke. "A sip of water."

Guillaume's eyes flash in unusual fashion, and the girl's expression turns momentarily blank, then softens considerably.

"A sip of water," she repeats automatically as she open the door wider and steps aside. "Of course. Won't you please come in?"

::She manages to sneak a few seductive kisses as they walk through the woods to the house. She notices a more modern feel to the house...the landscaping, the architecture...a more familiar feeling to her then the antiquated structure of the Kiss. She stays shyly behind Guillaume as Laura answers the door. It's almost as if she can read the woman's mind understanding the glare, sizing the both of them up. A more catty feeling comes up from deep inside her, having been judged too many times in her lifetime. Her own expression hardens and perhaps a low growl can be heard as the silence between the three grows. She feels Guillaume squeeze her hand and lightly push her further behind him as he speaks their introductions.

She looks Laura over, noticing her wild curls and sophisticated clothing. She wonders what kind of friends Belle kept with, obviously from upper class families, and tries to imagine Belle as human. She almost laughs thinking of the two of them covorting through a frat house like horny sorority sisters dressed in their abercrombie and fitch clothes and gucci shoes. She manages to maintain a straight face though and follows close behind Guillaume, keeping her silence. Her job right now is to watch and learn from him, follow his instructions, and do as he says. She knows the urge to kill must be suppressed as her own new life would be in peril should she decide to maul these two women.

They make their way into a living room where Laura offers them a seat. Her hospitality is more genuine now, and she raises a brow to that. She sees Tricia sitting there, and Tricia's dark hair and voracious curves take her by surprise. Tricia's striking looks appeal to her as she sees a darker streak in her...more so than she saw in Laura. A new hunger arises in her, but it's not for blood...it's for Tricia. Deep inside her, she sees Tricia as a challege, much like herself. The woman seems complex and quiet, but soon enough she will figure this one out. Guillaume takes notice as her eyes are obviously fixed on Tricia. Perhaps it is clear to him who will sip from whom, or perhaps he sees something more. Nonetheless, she snaps out of her gaze to Tricia and sits with Guilluame, holding on tight like a shy child.

Instictively, Laura goes and retrieves some glasses of ice water, the entire time, judging them. Perhaps not good or bad, but it's as if Laura knows something. It's as if Laura knows it was them on the rock...either way, Belle's essence is strong as she places the glasses before them. They both have a bond given to them by Belle. She bites her lip not knowing if she should attempt to drink the water or merely fake it. She watches Guillaume for her next cue.::

Aradia climbs from her bath feeling refreshed, but agitated. While the shrieks of frustration from the strange woman in the next room are almost entirely muffled by the locking spell, Aradia can sense her attempts to break free, both by force and magic.

After drying, Aradia pads into the bedroom and opens her pack. She retrieves a long black dress. Its tight but soft bodice and loose, flowing skirt should allow the greatest movement in response to any physical danger. For the same reason, she forgoes her usual sandals and wears calf-high leather boots.

She has trouble deciding which amulet to wear. She first considers EOLH, for the general protection it provides. But she decides the threat is more specific and chooses EIHWAZ, for its explicit defense to dangers.

She also takes from her jewelry pouch the Talisman of the Goddess of the Five Elements.

She will give it to Selah. Based upon the powers exhibited by the stranger locked up next-door, the Talisman will certainly assist in any spells affecting her.

Once she has dressed, Aradia again checks the unconscious young woman on the couch. Her breathing is slow and regular, although her pulse seems a little weak. They will need to either wake her soon, or devise the appropriate spell to suspend her in temporal stasis until they determine the correct course of action.

Aradia sighs. Through no affirmative choice of her own, she suddenly finds herself charged with the care of two strangers, one powerful and dangerous, the other innocent and vulnerable. Was this what drew her to this mansion full of vampires? If so, then it was almost certainly necessary to take her newfound wards elsewhere.

With these thoughts in mind, Aradia steps out of her room in search of Selah and Stardust, and of any news her cousins may have that will assist Aradia in carrying these burdens.

Subject: New Perspectives [Laura]

From: Laura_Junius

Reply to: Laura_Junius [ Message 332 ]

"I am Sir Guillaume FitzHenry," the stranger at the door introduces himself, then steps slightly aside to allow Laura a better view of his companion. "And this is the Lady Narcissa. We were hiking along your beautiful lake here and grew thirsty."

Laura notices the man staring intensely at her, and assumes he is trying to intimidate her. Laura has no use for such games, and steadfastly meets his gaze with her own as he continues speaking. "We were hoping you might provide us a sip..." Guillaume pauses, and chuckles in a way Laura finds strangely appealing, "A sip of water."

"A sip of water," Laura repeats automatically as she opens the door wider and steps back to admit them. "Of course. Won't you please come in?"

Laura shakes her head as she leads them into the house. A moment earlier, when these strangers first appeared at the door, she had disliked and distrusted them. A man of obvious wealth and sophistication cavorting publicly with a woman who by all appearances was some cheap slut, if not worse. The next thing she knows, in response to a simple request for a drink of water, she has invited them into the house, when she just as easily could have left them waiting on the porch.

I guess I'm just a sucker for an accent! Laura chides herself. Based on his clothes, speech and name, the man is clearly an English aristocrat, and he did refer to the woman as "LADY Narcissa." Would a British noblewoman really dress like that? Laura wonders. When she considers the reported antics of many members of the royal family, Laura realizes anything is possible. But what really surprises Laura is how captivating she finds them; until now, she has always loathed the whole concept, much less the reality, of the hereditary privileges of European aristocracy. Normally, she would have expected to slam the door in their noble faces.

As they instead enter the livingroom, Laura sees Tricia standing in the doorway from the diningroom, eyeing the strangers with the same distaste Laura had initially felt.

Laura shrugs and turns to the visitors. "Please have a seat while I get you your water. This is my friend, Tricia." When Laura turns back, Tricia is seated on a sofa facing their guests as if to keep an eye on them. "Tricia, allow me to introduce Sir Guillaume FitzHenry and Lady Narcissa.... Um... I guess it's just the Lady Narcissa." Laura finds herself giggling nervously, not understanding why she suddenly feels so self-consciously giddy in their presence.

The three exchange cooly polite greetings while Laura goes to the kitchen and fills two tumblers with ice cubes. Now alone, Laura's initial revulsion toward Guillaume and Narcissa returns. Who do they think they are?! A couple of foreign aristocrats, behaving however they please, even being so rude as to noisily and publicly have sex on the beach of a lakeside residential area, and then expecting to be catered to by the local folk. Filling their glasses, Laura decides she will let then have their water, and then immediately ask them to leave. Laura returns to the living room to find Tricia and the visitors still regarding one another in tense silence.

It feels to Laura as if it takes forever to cross the livingroom. At first, her eyes transfix on Guillaume. He really is outstandingly handsome and fit. Laura can well imagine how he might seduce a young woman like Narcissa to make love with him in some exotic locale. Memories of the sounds they made in their unconstrained passion echo in Laura's mind, just as they had across the lake, and she realizes she is blushing as she hands Guillaume his drink. She knows he is again staring at her, but this time she does not dare meet his eyes.

So she instead turns to Narcissa, who sits closely against Guillaume's side, affectionately hugging his right arm, even as she continues to study Tricia. Laura catches a whiff of Narcissa's tangy aroma -- tinged with the salty sweat of her recent activities -- and almost drops the water glass. Her hands trembling, she sets the tumbler on the table next to Narcissa and backs away to sit clumsily on the sofa next to Tricia.

Narcissa -- all wild red hair and voluptuous curves -- looks nothing like petite, brunette Belle. She certainly does not dress like Belle, and as far as Laura can tell, has none of Belle's mannerisms. But something about Narcissa, and Laura has no idea what, so reminds her of Belle that it nearly overcomes Laura with all of the intense emotions -- concern for her safety, confusion about her disappearance, desire for her touch -- she has felt regarding Belle over the past several days. Laura's eyes close and she groans softly, surprised to find she yearns for Narcissa, to stoke her long hair, to kiss her full lips, to feel her soft, pale skin against her own, nearly as much as she has ached for Belle these past few days.

Laura shudders, shakes her head and opens her eyes to find Tricia and her guests all staring at her. Tricia looks confused; Narcissa intrigued; and Guillaume amused. Knowing the blush glows upon her cheeks, Laura laughs nervously and tries to shrug away her odd reaction.

"I'm sorry," she explains. "I felt a little lightheaded for a moment. I suppose it's the late hour. I haven't had much sleep this past week."

From: Anborn

Guillaume realizes he should have expected this. It was he, after all, who had encouraged and instructed Belladonna to inject her essence into the then-mortal Narcissa. The purpose had been to bind Narcissa to Crimson Kiss, just as Laura was now also bound by Belladonna's essence, and as he next planned to do to Tricia through Narcissa's fresh essence, as well as his own.

But in the bustle of the past few days, centered on his headlong rush into his newfound love for Narcissa, Guillaume had simply overlooked the implications of bringing together Narcissa -- whose first steps toward transformation had included Belladonna's essence -- and the woman he now knows as "Laura," who is now insanely addicted to that essence. Apparently enough of Belladonna's essence remained in Narcissa at the time of her final metamorphosis that some aspect of Belladonna was permanently etched into Narcissa's new vampiric nature.

It is that part of Narcissa forged by Belladonna's essence to which Laura reacts when she swoons, falls back on the sofa next to Tricia, and groans huskily in obvious emotional and sexual privation.

Laura recovers to find all three of them -- Tricia, Narcissa and Guillaume -- staring at her.

"I'm sorry," Laura laughs in uncomfortable self-consciousness. "I felt a little lightheaded for a moment. I suppose it's the late hour. I haven't had much sleep this past week."

Guillaume grins. She has made matters almost too easy.

"Yes. It's late, and we're all tired," Guillaume speaks slowly and evenly as his gaze moves back and forth between Laura and Tricia. "I'm sure you are both very tired, too. You have had such a hard day, and now here we are, keeping you awake when you so badly want to sleep... need to sleep. It's alright. Just tell us that you are tired. We won't mind. It is alright to be sleepy now. So you can just tell us that you are tired. It is only natural -- inevitable, really -- that you are now very sleepy...."

He continues in this manner as the two girls eyes droop and their heads begin to nod soporifically. Tricia actually falls asleep first. Guillaume has a little trouble holding Laura's attention, as she keeps sneaking peeks at Narcissa. Eventually, however, Laura likewise succumbs, and slumps in slumber, her head coming to rest on Tricia's shoulder.

Guillaume allows a minute of silence to pass, then turns to Narcissa and announces, "It is time to complete our task here."

He stands and crosses the room to crouch next to the sofa on which the two young women sleep. He takes Tricia's left hand -- the one on the side away from Laura -- and lifts her wrist to his mouth. Narcissa glimpses long fangs before he delicately bites through the girl's tender skin. Narcissa watches as he swallows three times, then runs his tongue over the gash. When Guillaume sets Tricia's arm back in her lap, the wound is completely healed.

"It's your turn," Guillaume tells Narcissa. As she joins him, kneeling in front of the two women on the sofa, he gently moves Tricia's right arm out from where it is pinned between her and Laura. "Your fangs have not developed yet, of course, Darling, so allow me."

An unnoticeable but sharp corner on his perfectly manicured right thumbnail slices shallowly into Narcissa's right wrist, opening a lesser vein. As blood begins to flow, he instructs Narcissa. "Try to avoid allowing saliva into the cut until you are finished. That is what closes the wound."

He moves Tricia's hand closer to Narcissa. "Have a good drink, but don't take too much. This one's fate is yet uncertain, and we do not -- not yet, at least -- want to do anything that will do her permanent harm."

She wonders how he is able to control himself from devouring every last drop of the woman's blood, then it occurs to her that he is, after all, 800 years old and has plenty of practice. She, on the other hand, hopes she can maintain control as not to mess up his plans.

As he finishes, she drops to her knees in front of Tricia, and plans on enjoying every little sips she can get. Tricia's thighs are so lustfully firm but she parts the woman's legs and rises to her knees between them. She does this purposefully for Guillaume's pleasure as she takes Tricia's limp wrist. She sticks out her tongue and looks to Guillaume hoping she is doing this right. She licks at the wrist taking small sips, at least five for good measure, before handing him back her arm to seal the wound. As he proceeds to do so, she rises up a bit with a smirk on her lips. Just for the fun of it, she runs her hands up Tricia's stomach lightly, and up to her breasts, where she teasingly rubs her fingertips against her nipples. She plants a soft kiss against Tricia's lips before pulling away, the same wicked smirk planted firmly on her lips.::

"This should be quite fun Guillaume" , ::Is whispered as not to wake the women. She moves closer to Guillaume, her own sexuality rising again having fondled Tricia and drank of her blood. "I should have you take me right in front of them, while they sleep. How evil would that be?"

Stardust had returned to her room after the incident with the young woman. Her resolve to find someplace safer for her and her family to reside was stronger than ever.

As she changed from her pajamas to her normal attire, she noticed the PJs for the first time. Tinkerbell. She hadn't worn these pajamas in years. Mrs. Woodbury must have put her in them the night before last. And Star had just grabbed all the clothes on the bed and thrown them in the duffle bag. "You'll always be my Tinkerbell..." She could hear Jenny's teasing voice in her memory. She picked up the pajamas, buried her face in them and for a moment thought she caught a scent of Jenny's perfume. "You must continue on with your life." In the light of day, Star passed off last nights events as a dream, but it still felt very real.

She knocked softly on Selah's door. Her sister was lying on her bed, reading. She sat up as Star entered her room. "Hey..." She said softly.

"How you doing?" Star asked.

Selah sighed slightly, "I'm ok, just a bit tired."

Stardust nodded. "I'm going to do some scouting and see if I can find someplace else for us to stay."

It was Selah's turn to nod. "You want some company?"

Star smiled at her sister, "Nah, you should rest. I shouldn't be gone too long."

After a yawn, Selah said, "OK, see you when you get back."

Star closed the door and went out to the hall where she nearly bumped Aradia. "How are you feeling?" She asked her cousin.

"I'm concerned about these two women that have been put in my care." Aradia responded.

"Hey, I'm going to go out for a bit, and see if I can find another location for us." Star told her cousin.

Aradia nodded. "Good. If I can be of any help, let me know."

Star coughed for attention, "Uh, check book..." She grinned.

"Ah yes, of course." There was a bit of a twinkle in her eye as she handed her cousin the checkbook. "Stay out of the gambling halls with this." She teased.

"Hey, it was just that once, and it was a sure thing, how was I to know..." Star protested.

The moment of levity passed. "I'll find someplace for us. It will be ok." She took Aradia's hand. "I promise."

"I know you will Star. Blessed be, sister."

"I'll be back soon." Star promised and left.

Star went out to her car and remembered the events of the previous day. "Damn!" She muttered softly to herself. Somewhere on the this forest bed lie the keys to her car.

She had been searching for about a hour when she heard giggles amoung the trees. She wheeled and turned and caught sight of the pixie just before it could disappear. It froze in it's spot. "YOU! You can see us?"

"Yesssssss," Star let out her breath in exasperation. "Am I not supposed to?"

"Noone's seen us before..."

"Then you shouldn't giggle so loud!" Stardust snapped and resumed looking for her keys.

The pixie followed her. "You came out of that scary place, didn't you."

Star stopped looking and turned to face the pixie again. "The mansion?"

"Yeah! There!" She buzzed around Star's head.

Star for her part resisted the urge to swat the pixie. "Do you have a name... and DON'T say it is tinkerbell?"

"No, not Tinkerbell. My name is Trixie." The pixie responds. "You shouldn't stay in the scary place, it isn't safe!"

"Great, I am getting advice from Trixie the pixie." Star sighs. "And if I never find my car keys, I will never find us a new place to stay... Can pixies do something helpful, like locate car keys? Or are they just annoying?" Stardust asked, with just a touch of humor in her voice.

"Hey! Pixies are plenty helpful. How did you lose your car keys anyway?"

"I..." Star turned a bit red. "It doesn't matter!" she snapped. "If I don't find my car keys, I can't find a place for us to move so we don't live in the scary place..."

"I know a place! And you don't need your car!" The pixie was so excited she was almost doing somersaults.

Star cocked her eyebrow, "I take you are going to show me?"

"Follow me..." Trixie said and she fluttered off.

After about a 20 minute walk, they came to a shoreline with several cottages nestled comfortably apart from each other. A group of cottages had a crude "for sale" sign in front of them.

A couple were occupied out front, loading up a car. It seemed fate was finally in the young witches favor. She walked up to the couple, "Hi, I am interested in your cottage."

After a brief discussion over a cup of tea, Star found out they were leaving unexpectedly due to a family emergency. They weren't returning any time soon and needed to sell the place for the money. The cottages felt right to her. There was plenty of room and the energy was good. Also, the price on them wasn't unreasonable. They needed the money now, more than they needed a lot of money. She signed the necessary papers and gave them a check. Happily she returned to her car with the pixie in tow.

Upon reaching her car she was stunned to find her keys. She almost tripped over them. The kixie giggled again. "We thought you might need those." Then she sat on Star's car. "So how come you can see us and other's can't?"

Star tried the keys and opened her car, she sat in the front seat and shrugged. "I don't know..." She looked at the pixie. "Are you magic?" Then she snorted, "Of course you are. What the hell was I thinking... I can see you because you are magic based I guess. I have a gift that let's me see different types of magic."

With a start, Star realized that her magic was back. She immediately tried a stardust trail and it was back in all it's technicolor glory! "Woo Hoo!" she shouted. The pixie jumped straight into the air. "See you around Trixie!" Star shouted as she dashed back towards the manor to share all her good news.

Subject: Resisting Temptation... For Now [Guillaume]

From: Anborn

Reply to: Narcissa_ [ Message 338 ]

Guillaume watches closely as Narcissa takes Tricia's hand and raises it to her mouth to sip the blood collecting around the wound. He sees the hunger burning in Narcissa's eyes and is prepared to intervene if she moves to consume too much.

It pleases him to see Narcissa successfully resist that temptation as she gingerly laps at the crimson rivulets flowing onto Tricia's palm, then moves her tongue slowly up to the slice in Tricia's wrist. In fact, when Narcissa returns Tricia's hand to him, Guillaume worries that Narcissa was too careful, and none of her saliva -- and the essence it carries -- has reached Tricia's bloodstream. But as he watches, the cut begins to heal, proving that it has absorbed some of Narcissa's rejuvenating essence.

Once he is certain that Tricia's tissues have begun to absorb Narcissa's essence, Guillaume himself licks the wound. It now heals completely, ensuring that when Tricia awakens, she will find no evidence of the violence they have done to her.

He looks up to find Narcissa -- still kneeling between Tricia's legs, having caused the girl's dress to hike far up her thighs -- leering at him seductively. Narcissa's hands slide up Tricia's hips and across her stomach to cup her firm, round breasts, which Narcissa tenderly caresses as she leans forward to softly kiss the unconscious girl's full, red lips. Despite eight centuries of experiences, many of them far more vitiated than this harmless petting, he finds Narcissa's explicitly wanton behavior irresistibly enticing.

"This should be quite fun, Guillaume," Narcissa whispers as she pulls away from Tricia and comes around the end of the couch to sit cross-legged on the floor next to him. She takes his free hand and guides it between her legs, pressing his palm against the denim covering her most private places, encouraging him to fondle her as her hips rock rhythmically. "I should have you take me right in front of them, while they sleep," she pants lightly. "How evil would that be?"

He closes his eyes and sighs. While making love with Narcissa remains as tempting as always, the presence of Laura and Tricia -- in their current state -- adds little to his desires. With the hypnotic suggestion of exhaustion he planted in their minds, they will sleep for hours regardless of the activities around them.

"As delightful as that sounds," Guillaume whispers as he kisses her right ear while his fingers continue to stroke her intimately. "I think we should return to the manor and try to find Dahlia and Belladonna. You understand what I've told you about the effect of our essence upon humans, right? It's like an addiction, that is expressed though all the most basic human emotional and physical needs. By this time tomorrow -- with our essence having been in her for twenty-four hours -- Tricia will already be like a cocaine addict too long without an injection. And poor Laura has gone several days without seeing Belladonna, whose essence has obviously taken complete hold of her. Laura must be nearly mad with longing by now!"

Withdrawing his hand from between Narcissa's thighs, Guillaume stands, pulling her up after him. "So let us return to Crimson Kiss and discuss this situation with Belladonna. She must decide what to do about her friends, and I have some suggestions to propose. I promise we will return here tomorrow, and if the idea of making love while Tricia and Laura sleep nearby appeals to you, then I think you will find a full range of far more intriguing options available tomorrow!"

From: Orah

It had been hours, and the Selkie had exhausted all her reserves of subtlety. She had been trying to pry, coerce, manipulate, divide, trick and otherwise decieve the binding spell so that she could get out of the room. She'd even tried to circumvent the spell by leaving the room by other means (the window,) but the Witches had included it in their spell, even though it was unlikely that anyone would be so insane as to try escaping through it. Unable to restrain herself, the Selkie shrieked her frustration to the ceiling, and settled down into a determinate crouch, concentrating on the powers of Breaking. In a series of Ban Sidhe-like wails, she called the Powers of Air, Water, Heavens, Fire and Lightning to her, concentrating them into a small hard hot ball of malevolent intent. She drew as deeply as she dared on her own reserves, opened one side of the darkly glistening Power Orb, and let loose all the destruction she could squeeze out of it upon the door of the room, and the spell that bound her.

At first, she thought that she had succeeded.

The door had taken all it could before bursting into splinters so fine that they may as well have been called dust. But the spell had simply stretched a bit, and then absorbed all of the Power she had directed at it. The Selkie tested her newly expanded (by four steps into the hallway,) prison. All she had managed to do was strengthen the Binding.

She threw back her head and gave a full-throated bellow of outrage that shook the manor down to the foundation.

She knows they were here for one quick purpose and she is actually quite excited about seeing Belle and Dahlia again, this time in her new skin. She takes his hand and walks with him towards the door flipping back her curls to look at the women once again.::

"Belle has some lovely friends. I wonder what she'll think of all this."

::He tugs her arm pulling her out the door, and she had not even realized she had stopped in her tracks to stare at the two sleeping women. Never had she noticed such subtleties in women before. Their soft lips, curvacious bodies, supple skin. It's almost as if those traits were magnified to her in these two women. The trek through the woods begins again, as it did when they left the Kiss and within only a matter of minutes they arrive back at the Kiss. The door is kindly opened for them by Briant and as they enter, she freezes in the front hallway.::

"Guillaume...what if they don't accept me? What will happen then?"

::She knows that is a foolish question, but a relevant one none the less. She knows Belle will welcome her with open arms, but she sensed an obvious distate from Dahlia. Dahlia came from practical royal blood, while she was merely a street urchin. She hoped for the best, but was ready for the worst.::

Laura stirs in her sleep. Despite unnatural exhaustion, she wakens slightly -- not enough to become aware of her surroundings, but enough for semiconscious introspection, even thought. She would not have awoken at all, if it had not been for the extraordinary intensity of the dream.

~~~~~
In the dream, she and Belle sat on a flat boulder near the dark lakeshore. They faced each other in the moonlight, cross-legged, knees almost touching. Belle stared deeply into Laura's eyes.
Belle declared confidently, "You SHALL give your heart to me."
"I shall give my heart to you," Laura repeated in obedient monotone. Her love for Belle was unquestionable.
A cloud covered the moon. For a moment, there was nothing but absolute darkness.
Then lightening flashed. In its glare Laura saw that Belle was gone. Lady Narcissa sat in her place.
"You SHALL give your heart to me," Narcissa declared confidently.
Laura's living heart still pulsed against Narcissa's bare breast.
~~~~~

Laura stirs in her sleep. Despite unnatural exhaustion, she wakens slightly -- not enough to become aware of her surroundings, but enough for semiconscious introspection, even thought. She would not have awoken at all, if it had not been for the extraordinary intensity of the dream.

Before she falls back fully asleep, Laura wakens enough to wonder what aspect of the nightmare frightens her more, its last horrific image, or the fact that many of her friends and relatives treat her dreams as premonitions, because they tend to portend -- albeit often symbolically -- events yet to come.

Laura stirs in her sleep.

"Guillaume... what if they don't accept me?" Narcissa asks, suddenly stopping in the hall outside the parlor where the Vampiresses Dahlia and Belladonna sit. This will be the first time they have encountered Narcissa since she too became Kindred. "What will happen then?"

Guillaume turns to Narcissa with bright, loving eyes, and a warm, tender smile. After their evening of wild debauchery, during which Narcissa repeatedly expressed a number violently bloody desires, her spontaneous confession of social anxiety takes Guillaume slightly by surprise. He nonetheless finds it reassuring, a sign that his earlier concerns regarding Narcissa's temperament were, he hopes, unfounded.

Guillaume wraps Narcissa in his arms, and pulls her closely against him as he softly kisses her lips with extraordinary gentleness.

"You needn't worry," he assures her. "Dahlia's hospitality is legendary. And from what I've seen, I think Belladonna is already quite fond of you."

Her hands still tenderly embracing Dahlia's arm, Belle rests her head on her lover's right shoulder and follows her gaze into the fireplace. Belle sighs, and would be content to spend the rest of the evening like this, quietly cuddling by the fire. But then she hears someone enter the mansion, and recognizes Narcissa's and Guillaume's voices in the foyer.

Dahlia stands as her guests enter the parlor, and Belle follows her to her feet. Narcissa and Guillaume cross the room with their arms around each other's waists, like high school sweethearts.

Belle feels her pulse quicken. She recalls her initial attraction to Narcissa. She IS uncommonly gorgeous! She does not have Dahlia's extraordinary, sculpture-like beauty of exotic perfection honed by millennia of experience. Rather, Narcissa's youthful face and voluptuous body practically ooze a feminine sexuality that Belle finds surprisingly alluring.

"Ladies!" Guillaume grins proudly as he and Narcissa stop in front of Dahlia and Belle. "It gives me great pleasure to present and reintroduce to you the newest member of our family, the Vampiress Narcissa."

"Greetings, Chylde," Dahlia smiles formally. "You are welcome at Crimson Kiss."

"Thank you," Narcissa replies.

All eyes turn to Belle. She still finds Narcissa incredibly exciting, a feeling kindled by memories of having tasted not only her kiss, but also her blood. But these desires are tempered by remembering the pain she caused Dahlia by doing so.

Keeping her hands firmly entwined around Dahlia's arm, Belle tries to keep her voice low and even. "Yes. Welcome, Narcissa. It is nice for me to no longer be the only novice in the household. I feel like I've gained a sister, and I hope you'll think of me the same way."

Aradia can feel their captive straining against the containment spell placed around her suite. The woman's innate magic is obviously powerful and Aradia considers calling Selah to see if there is anything they can do to reinforce the spell, even while Stardust is gone.

Before she can act, the door to the room disintegrates with a puff of sawdust and a pop of displaced air. The strange woman tries charging out of the doorway, but makes it only a few feet into the hall before the spell flings her back. Aradia is relieved that the containment spell muffles most of the prisoner's desperate, plaintive wail. She suspects that it was nonetheless audible to the preternaturally sensitive ears of the vampires residing elsewhere in the manor and wonders if they will take notice, or even care.

Aradia turns to knock on Selah's door, but her attention is drawn by a noise from her own room. The unconscious woman whom Virani found, and left in Aradia's care, stirs in her sleep -- disturbed, no doubt, by the commotion next door -- and for a moment sobs in unintelligible but obviously fearful despair before again succumbing to her unnatural slumber.

It takes her a moment to remember where she is and that the person against whom she rests must be her friend and traveling companion Tricia. Laura confirms this, without moving her head, by glancing up at Tricia's face.

Tricia's eyes are closed, and Laura can tell by Tricia's rhythmic purr that she is still sleeping.

How had they come to be sitting together on this couch, leaning against each other in mutual slumber? The last thing Laura remembers is sitting there talking with two presumptuous visitors, who called themselves "Sir Guillaume" and "Lady Narcissa." How could she and Tricia have fallen asleep right there in front of their guests? They had not even been drinking.

Laura feels confused, disquieted and, suddenly, a bit frightened. She also remains quite tired. She hopes her friend won't awaken while she allows herself the comfort of remaining snuggled against Tricia for a just few more minutes.

"Depending on your decision," Guillaume continues. "I may be able to help you."

"Yes, Belle," Narcissa chimes in. "You should let us help you."

"Thank you, Narcissa," Belle responds flatly. "That is very kind of you, but the situation is more complex than you could possibly imagine." Belle can still hardly believe it herself. By simply licking the blood from a scratch on Laura's hand, she had condemned her best friend to one of three fates: a slow, tormented death by calamitous psychological deprivation; a merciful death as Belle's own prey; or to join Belle in the dark world of the Kindred, as a virtual slave, at least for the foreseeable future. She looks up to Dahlia, hoping to find solace.

"I know this is hard, Darling," Dahlia says, although her voice holds little sympathy. "But as I've already told you, it is something you must decide alone. It is a fundamental ethic of our kind that we are responsible for those mortals we transform, be it partially or completely. It is analogous to a human's responsibility for its children."

"Laura von Hoeffner was my best friend before..." Belle fights to maintain control of her voice. "Before I came to live here. I can't let her die. So if the only way for her to live is to stay here with me, then I suppose that is how it must be. I trust that when I am ready, or when we find some other, appropriate Sire, she can eventually be made one of us."

"Yes...." Dahlia admits hesitantly. "But it could be a long time before that happens, and in the meantime her presence will complicate things."

Belle shakes her head in frustration. "And I just thought of another complication. When I visited Laura, she wasn't alone. She had left a note for me so I wouldn't be surprised when I found the house occupied. It said she was there with one of our schoolmates, Tricia. I did not see her, but her scent was strong in the house. Guillaume says she's still there. If we bring Laura here, Tricia is bound to call the police when she finds her missing, and there would be a huge manhunt right through these woods!"

"Yes," Guillaume agrees. "There are many 'complications.' For instance, it won't be enough to simply let Laura live in this household. She is physically and emotionally addicted to you. She will constantly want to be near you... As near as possible, if you take my meaning. Nearer, I suspect, than you might want with someone you see as a dear, old-fashioned kind of friend. In many ways, she will be more like a pet than a person. You need to ask yourself if you are comfortable with that."

Guillaume allows a moment for that to sink in before continuing.

"On the other hand, you needn't worry about Tricia." As he says the name, he slides one of his hand part way up Narcissa's right thigh, reminding her of where she knelt while she sipped the girl's blood. Narcissa and I have seen to that, haven't we, Darling?"

Subject: Coming Around [Laura]

From: Laura_Junius

Reply to: goddessT [ Message 354 ]

As much as Laura finds comfort, after her nightmare, in leaning there against Tricia on the couch, her head resting on Tricia's shoulder, Laura decides she should get up. Laura does not want Tricia to waken and find Laura cuddling against her. While she remains uncertain, Laura still suspects that Tricia might be interested in something closer than friendship.

Laura starts to rise, but then Tricia stirs and her right arm wraps around Laura's waist, pulling her back against Tricia, while Tricia's other arm comes around to enfold Laura in a gentle hug. Laura freezes in shock, at first thinking that Tricia is finally making a move on her. Then she hears Tricia groggily mumble something that might have been "teddy bear," sigh, and then resume her soft, steady breathing. Laura concludes that Tricia had never wakened, but instead in her sleep instinctively snuggled the warm body next to her.

Laura sits there perplexed, reclining against Tricia and still held in her arms. As Tricia's left arm had come around, her hand had slid right across Laura's breasts. Her nipples still tingle pleasantly, and Laura shudders as they harden, pressing against her camisole and blouse.

Laura cannot believe how exciting she now finds the embrace of another woman. Prior to this weekend -- while she never presumed to judge the choices of others -- Laura has always rejected, in fact been personally and privately somewhat disgusted by, the idea of lesbian relationships. Now, over the past few nights, she has come to sexually desire her best friend, Belle Phillips, so much that she has actively fantasized about her. Of course, with Belle being away, Laura has not had to actually confront those feelings.

The closest she has come to doing so was when she met their uninvited guests, Sir Guillaume and Lady Narcissa. She had found herself desiring to touch Narcissa with the same sensual intensity she has felt every time she has imagined being with Belle. But Laura had fallen asleep before needing to address this new evidence of what she fears is her developing bisexuality.

On the other hand, Tricia is right here, and it does feel wonderful to be in her arms. Once already today, Laura found herself tempted to invite renewed advances from Tricia, and if it turned out Tricia really was interested in her that way, to use her as a means to relieve her mounting physical frustrations. Laura moans softly, imagining how that might be, although her fantasies keep returning to images of Belle... or Narcissa... Touching her... Kissing her... Tonguing her....

NO! Laura grits he teeth and shakes her head. She refuses to even consider such actions. Certainly NOT with Tricia, her classmate and friend.

Laura slowly disentangles herself from Tricia's arms and moves to the far end of the couch. It takes a few moments to bring her breathing back under control.

When she has calmed down, she leans forward a bit, to place her hand on the back of Tricia's right wrist, and shake it slightly. "Hey... Trish...." Laura recognizes the breathy quaver in her voice and clears her throat before speaking again. "Trish! Wake up. We somehow managed to doze off and our company left. I guess we're both still pretty exhausted from all the driving. We should get up and go to bed.... I mean... you know... to sleep."

Subject: Resignation [Belladonna]

From: cyberian_belle

Reply to: Narcissa_ [ Message 363 ]

"Don't worry, Belle," Narcissa advises after suggesting that she and Guillaume should adopt Tricia and Laura as servile pets. "We'll take good care of them. They'll be much happier here, don't you think?"

"I don't know what to think," Belle confesses peevishly. In her frustrated anger, Belle lashes out. "But I do know, my dear Narcissa, that I permit only one person -- and that's Dahlia -- to still call me by my former, human name. From now on, please refer to me as 'Belladonna'!"

Belle continues to glare at Narcissa, whose breathy voice and lascivious movements reveal why she is so willing to bring two mortal girls to reside with them at the manor. Narcissa has clearly yielded, to a far greater degree than Belle has permitted herself, to the carnal temptations that their heightened vampire sensations offer. Indeed, the only time Belle has really done so was with Narcissa herself, back when Narcissa was still human. Belle's lingering guilt over that fiasco makes it hard for her to judge Narcissa too harshly now.

Belle's eyes soften, and she sighs in resignation. "Guillaume is right," she concedes. "I would not be comfortable having Laura so near to me in her current condition... She might... I'm not sure I could...." Belle trembles at some image in her mind about which the others can only guess.

After a moment, she again sighs, and shakes her head. "And if the only other alternative is death... And since she will have the chance to join us in immortality someday...."

Belle stands, and walks stiffly over to the hearth. Staring into the fire, she practically snarls her next words. "Fine. If it must be, it must be. Guillaume. Narcissa. She's yours. You can have her. Take her!"

Her breath coming in short, desperate, angry bursts, she continues to stand there, her back to them all, gazing at the dancing flames in the fireplace. She is not sure which she finds more troubling, the fate to which she has just condemned two young women, one of whom was once her best friend; or the fact that another thought keeps coming to mind...

What does it matter what happens to Laura and Tricia? After all, they're just mere humans.

::She licks her lips as Belle gives in to their request. She gazes up to Guillaume, who also shows satisfaction as he looks back down to her. The fact that Belle lashed out at her only fuels her fire, but she knows it would be dangerous to approach her at the mantle. This time she keeps her mouth shut as to let Guillaume carry on the burden of the conversation that is to come. In her mind, she is plotting out the remainder of the evening...talking with Guillaume on their future plans with Laura and Tricia. Her plans to have Laura and Belle accidentally run into each other here also run through her mind as she is eager to see the two reunite, not for their own pleasures, but her own mental satsifaction. It will be wildly torturous for the both of them and she knows it. She sits back for a moment thinking that even know she has no knowledge about Laura and Belle...how they grew up, where they came from, the extent of their relationship, but somehow she knows their feelings and she knows their passions, for theirs are the same as hers.::

Subject: Hidden Complexities [Guillaume]

From: Anborn

Reply to: Narcissa_ [ Message 366 ]

"Fine," Belladonna snarls as she ultimately surrenders to the inevitable logic of the solution Guillaume and Narcissa offer, to allow them to take responsibility for her mortal friend Laura, whom Belladonna unknowingly infused with her vampiric essence. The emotional and physical effects of that adulteration to Laura's physiology would soon drive Laura to a death of excruciating dementia, unless the girl was brought into a Kindred household. "If it must be, it must be. Guillaume. Narcissa. She's yours. You can have her. Take her!"

Guillaume glances down at Narcissa, and they exchange subtle, satisfied smiles. Guillaume hopes that Narcissa has not noticed his distraction. An innate sixth sense perceives the presence of another human girl nearby, one with a bond to Guillaume as strong as that Laura has to Belladonna, which Belladonna has now rejected.

Guillaume closes his eyes, and recalls the last time he sensed this girl. Earlier this year, while on the travels that ultimately brought him to this manor, he had passed through London. He had been hungry, and that huge city -- now the decaying remains of a once great imperial capital -- offered an ideal opportunity for finding the sort of forgotten soul on which he preferred to prey. On a desolate side street, near a seedy pub, he had met a girl, a lovely young redhead.

He recalls her name is Shannon. It took very little persuasion to get her to reveal that she too was traveling, and alone, and had no one in her life to miss her if she vanished. Had he not been sojourning, Guillaume would probably have taken her home as a servant, just as he plans to now make of Laura and her friend Tricia.

But, short on time and away from his estate, Guillaume decided simply to feed upon her. She seemed so vulnerable that he grew careless, leading her to a spot no more secluded than a dark, but far too short, alley. As his fangs sank into her throat, and Shannon realized what was happening, she screamed, drawing the attention of a group of young toughs who, by unfortunate coincidence, were just then passing nearby. Facing a half-dozen strong men, Guillaume had no choice but retreat, leaving the girl with them. Guillaume wondered if they had come to her rescue, or had then used her themselves.

His ship to America sailed the next dawn, so he had no opportunity to hunt for Shannon the next night. He presumed that if she survived the evening, she would soon pine away and expire, the same fate which would await Laura and Tricia if he and Narcissa did not take possession of them.

But it now seems that Shannon survived, and the power of his essence in her flesh had drawn her here, to a hidden location, across thousands of miles of ocean and unfamiliar countryside! After so many weeks, she must be nearly insane from the effects of the essence. He can already feel the turmoil in her soul.

So, it is no surprise that at first, with the other Kindred focusing on Belladonna, that he is the only one to notice the door at the far end of the parlor open slightly, and a small, pale face appear behind it.

"Belladonna is obviously and understandably upset," Guillaume suggests. "I know it is still several hours until sunrise, but perhaps it would be best if we all retired for the evening."

Aradia again turns and raps on Selah's door, much more forcefully this time. It concerns her greatly that she has not seen nor heard any response from her studious cousin, despite all the commotion just across the hall from her suite.

"Selah!" Aradia calls. "Are you in there? Are you alright?"

Aradia hears a mewl behind her and turns to see her cat standing in the open doorway of her own room. She follows the animal inside to discover a new concern. The young red-haired girl, to whom Aradia has been tending in her preternatural and seemingly perpetual slumber, is gone.

Tricia only has more than one thing on her mind, the feel of Laura's fingers, the feel of the texture of her top agains her breasts, the wetness down between,..... Tricia shakes herself awake and arches her back and stretches her body and the top of her dress pulls down revealing a wide expanse of breast and clevage ........as she stands, up she does not bother to pull it up giving Laura a quite erotic view.... She smiles and says almost in a purr "yes bed would be a good idea." In her mind though, Tricia is thinking about anything but sleep.

She too feels another presence in the room, although she is very unsure of the feeling. She takes his hand in hers, noting he is not even looking in their direction, to re-direct his focus. Subject: Unexpected Complications {Stardust}

From: azzizs

Reply to: Josephine_Maia [ Message 368 ]

Stardust enters the house and finds herself drawn to the parlor for a reason she can't explain.

She enters the room and is immediately hit by the emotions floating in the air. Not floating exactly, more turbulently swirling... She takes a moment to assess the situation she has unwittingly stepped into.

She immediately spots four vampires in the room. Two older vampires, judging by their dark aura and two recently embraced vampires. One of the newer vampires is standing near the fireplace, obviously upset. Something in her demeanor draws Stardust and she has a desire to comfort her. A desire which she does not act on without further accessing things.

Two others, a male who is not new to being a creature of the night and what looks to be his latest conquest, a recent female are standing as if to leave. She noticed wore a smug expression of victory won, while her male counterpart's attention was drawn elsewhere.

Lastly, sitting on a couch was a female with a air of regalness to her. Star guessed that she must be Deliah, the lady of the manor. She seemed oddly detached from the scene Stardust observed, but not removed. The young witch could tell that nothing escapes this woman's attention. But her demeanor well hid her true feelings. So much so, that even as empathic as Star naturally was, this woman was a complete mystery to her.

Obviously Star's entrace was at the end of some drama that was ending for the night. Not akin to hanging with vampires to start with, she looks for a opportunity to make a hasty exit.

"I...I just came in for a book I saw earlier. I am sorry if I have..." She breaks off when she notices one of the young women under Aradia's care, standing just inside the other doorway...

She starts to take a step towards the young woman, then hesitates. She knows in her heart why the woman is there, is it right for her to intercede? If it was someone she loved, that she cared for...she would not hesitate to place herself in what would be certain danger. But this stranger has not asked for her help, or has she?

Stardust stands ready and accesses the vampire's changing reactions to the situation unfolding. Wishing she knew what to do...
