The bar

Albert’s bar is located in a station in the Metro. I don’t know how far it is from their home, walking, as I always took the Metro to it. In fact, I don’t think I would have been able to find the bar on a map, unless the map showed the various Metro stops.

It is a small room, long and narrow, with the "bar" running down one length of the wall, barstools the length of the bar, and then small tables up against the other wall. The walls are dirty, from the accumulation of cigarette smoke and exhaust from the trains. I know that this description makes the place sound dingy, but Albert keeps everything related to the food and drinks spotlessly clean.
