Oscar

Oscar is one of Maiol’s oldest friends. He’s also a professional basketball player in Europe, and had played on Spain’s Olympic team the previous year. I had heard many things about him from Maiol, when he was here in the states, and was eager to meet him – Maiol had not exaggerated. Oscar was friendly, funny, charming, and sincere. Truly a gentleman and wonderful to be around. I am sorry that I didn’t get to spend more time with him.
