Not overly impressed with the French

I actually feel bad about this entry. I sure didn’t see France when I was at my best – exhaustion and stress and panic don’t really lead to one viewing another country with an open mind. And yes, I did meet some rude French people, but I know a lot more Americans who are rude to foreigners than I ran into in France. I have a feeling that I was taking a lot of my frustration with the trials of the trip on the French people, instead of being mad at myself. Not very mature of me.

I think that now I’d like to go back and see France – this time with a more open mind (and a lot less stress and panic.)
