Actually, I would still like to know this. I venture to guess that I was being told-off for my (presumed) littering, but I really don’t know. Maybe I was sitting on a reserved bench or something. Maybe she was just venting. It was so odd. Why is it that cursing tends to sound so much more aggressive and vulgar in other languages?
