ive gone a a lot of places and made a lot of friends, but of those that live far away, you are the only one is really still my freind...people always say even of those they never see or talk to any more but used to be friends with, that they have a friend in this place or that one...and i do it too, and its not that i dont really think they are my friends, but--its friend in a different sense kind of isnt it?
i move away, or they move away, we gradually stop calling eachother, sending emails...whatever, and then we are friends more in memory than anything.
with you it was never like that. we're better friends now than ever before i think and...thats really nice.
and...i want you to know that you were a huge role model for me during my exchange...the way you came to the US, made friends that you will have forever, learned to speak english without an accent...it really gave me something to work tword while i was in brasil, and i dont know that i would have accomplished everything i did if it were'nt for that.
