I'm sooooooo sorry I had a work party on Sunday and I didn't get home until 10:15!! I was so mad. I didn't get to see Lord of the Flies, but I'll provide you with a summary that's probably much better than anything I could put together, so if you're like me and missed it, go here for a summary on Lord of the Flies. 12/02/01-This episode begins when Darren and Evelyn Mountjoy are murdered in their home by two deformed men. Reyes and Doggett got the crime scene to check it out the next day. Agent Reyes notices the way the bodies are positioned on the chairs and the word "DAEMONICUS" spelled out on the Scrabble board. She believes something like the devil himself committed this crime and her theory is just strengthened when three snakes suddenly come out of Evelyn's chest. Reyes and Doggett ask Scully to do the autopsies and she finds that Darren was most likely tricked into shooting his wife and that the snakes where sewn into Evelyn after she was dead. Later, they get a lead at a mental hospital and meet Dr. Monique Sampson and ask her about her patient Kenneth Richman. Dr. Sampson give them a possible accomplice, one of the guards who had gone missing. Reyes and Doggett then question Josef Kobold who gives them confusing answers that later lead them to the next victim. The next time they ask for his help he demands a larger cell with windows before he helps them again. While Doggett is in the cell Kobold is suddenly over-powered by something. He was saying something that Reyes was able to translate into "physican", so the agents rushed to Dr. Sampson's home in fear she was the next victim. Sure enough she was killed when they arrived.
Convinced that Kobold was responsible, Doggett tries to question him about his knowledge of satanism back in his new cell. Kobold answers with insinuations that Doggett is trying to get Scully's affection in Mulder's absence. When Doggett tried to grab Kobold he throw up lots of orange goo all over the cell. While Scully concludes Kobold is normal, Reyes believes the goo is ectoplasm and Doggett believes none of this. That night after Custer (the guard assigned to watch Kobold) sees Kobold's face transform into a demon faced man while drawn to his cell by whispering, Doggett calls Scully and tells her Kobold told him where to find the suspect. Agent Scully knows of this place and goes over there while Doggett and Reyes and back up are on their way. They arrive and Scully can't be found, so Doggett askes Kobold where she is and all he says is "Game's over. You've lost." Then drawn to the warehouse by gunshot, Doggett finds Scully unharmed, Richman had shot himself giving Kobold a chance to escape. Doggett realized this and ran outside and shot Kobold as he ran. He fell in the water below. Back at Quantico Doggett show the agents how Kobold had orchestrated the whole thing and his vitctims, Darren, Evelyn, Monique, Custer, spelled out Daemonicus and how Kobold would be too far away by the time the understood all of this. 11/18/01- Here we pick up from last week. Doggett seems to be in the process of drowning since, Shannon is holding him down, but she gives him mouth-to-mouth underwater and saves him. He then wakes up in his apartment to find that Shannon had brought him home and was still there. She tells him how she is one of the super soldiers and so was Knowle Rohrer. They were both drafted off together after Bravo Co. She tells him she hates what she has become and they are making many more of their kind. She also tells him that she believes that William was the first successful super soldier birth, which would explain what's been going on with him. Reyes was also warned to distance herself from Doggett by Follmer. There's also some kind of marine vessel that has a lab where eggs are being manipulated. When Doggett and Reyes hear what Shannon has to say, they contact Scully (she does admit something has happened to her baby and she's not going to tell Mulder in fear that he might come backa nd be put in danger), who comes over to meet her.
The captain of the vessel was contacted Carl Wormus, but can't get a hold of him since he had died in the previous episode. When he comes back to the ship, he finds out that one of the officers had been replaced by Knowle Rohrer. (they later find the officer's body floating in the ocean)
Reyes investigates Shannon who she found out was working at the Justice Department and has to tell Scully and Doggett to not trust Shannon. She was actually trying to get the third man who was going to expose the water contamination program. This man was the captain of the marine vessel. Scully, Doggett, and Reyes all go to the vessel to meet the captain, but go and find Knowle Rohrer instead. Scully and Reyes run into the ship to find the captain as Doggett tries to hold of Knowle. Knowle attacks him but Shannon comes from behind and chops off his head, but then Knowle gets up and punches her in the stomach going all the way through her. They both fall into the ocean. Scully and Reyes found the lab where they were working with ova and she wants to see if her name is there, but Doggett pushes both of them out because there was a bomb about to go off in the ship. They get out narrowly.
Doggett couldn't find anything on Kersh, but he hands in his report anyway. Back in the ocean Shannon again comes to life....for more detail in case this confused you --->

11/11/01- Okay here's a short summary of what happened on Sunday. We meet a new A.D., Follmer, who has obviously had relations with Reyes. Doggett wants to continue his investigation on Kersh, even though Skinner wants him to stop. Reyes and Doggett haven't found any hard evidence yet. We also meet, Lucy Lawless's character, Shanon Well, she was in Bravo Co. together in the military along with Knowle Rohrer. They both are the "super soldiers." And Shannon has killed two water workers that were going to expose what they really were. Later we then see that William has some sort of powers. When he was crying the mobile kept spinning on its own. Scully now expects that something is wrong with her child and contacts agent Doggett after telling him that William was normal. Doggett and Reyes ask Scully to examine Wormus's body (one the those guys who studied the chloramine in water). While Reyes stays with Scully, Doggett and Skinner go looking through Wormus's things and find many MANY folders about chloramine in his desk. They take the files and run as they are persued by Folmer and Co. Follmer found out that John had taken Wormus's body, which he didn't have a right to do. So Doggett and Skinner run through the water plant until Folmer catches up with Skinner. He then looks for Doggett, but John jumped into on of those water storers and is underwater trying not to be seen. Folmer doesn's see him but little does he know Shannon (which he hasn't seen in a long time) is under there too. She pulls him down, further and further....for a more in depth summary, click here!
Well, first of all at the end of season 8 we left Mulder and Scully (and William) in Scully's apartment (yay!!). William was not what everyone thought he was. We still aren't totally sure who the father is, but I got a hunch it's Mulder. (another yay!!). Of course this season Mulder will not be returning, but I'm anxious to see how they write him off, and if he's gonna be in the movie. I guess we'll all have to wait until November 4th. All I know is that season 9 will start with "Nothing Important Happened Today" and that Lucy Lawless is gonna make a guest appearence. Weird... I don't really want to go and read they summaries for season 9 episodes, cause I want to be surprised and I bet I will. Well, catch you later bye!! |
