Our solution was a skit where a laundry room came to life. An lady comes into her laundry room, irritated with all the messy laundry. In exhaustion she falls asleep, and the laundry room comes to life.

The lady complains "Why don't men ever do laundry!"

The laundry, washer /dryer, the cheeryleader detergent box, and the water pipe come to life. Here the laundry basket sings the woes of being laundry:

The washer/ dryer has a split personality. The washer lovingly sings in her English accent:

Washing is my hobby, I like it very much.

But the angry dryer is fed up:

I'm hot, I'm mad, I'm really mean!

The spunky valley girl "Cheer"y leader detergent box is full of good ideas, like a playing a game of baseball with a giant stain stick and a fabric softener ball. The teams are the white socks and the red socks.

Like, I'm a white sock! Go, go, white socks!

In the midst of their game they hit the poor waterpipe who springs a horrid leak! He cries:

Help me! Get a bandaid! I think it hit an artery and won't stop!

Trouble almost erupts when they lady is awakened by the gushing water, but a clonk on the head with the stain stick bat knocks her out again.

The characters decide that the lady might treat them better if they clean up the laundry room. She awakens to a room that has never been so "tide"-y!
