HE promises us Light for the journey
HE gives us Hope when life is gloomy;
HE offers Strength in tribulation
HE gives Peace in consternation.
HE provides loving surprises,
HE is the still, quiet voice with promises,
For those who wish to believe and listen;
HE is the righteous defender
Of the innocent, their protector.
He is the foundation of true joy
For those who look to Him to buoy
Their spirit and rejoice in HIS NAME;
HE is sovereign LORD and powerful Creator
HE is mankind’s Saviour;
The GOD of eternal fame.
