The Seamen's Church in Miami has been a home for Scandinavians in Florida for 130 years without having a place of its own. A fundraising committee plans to raise two million dollars for a center, which will house a church, conference center, library, retail space for Scandinavian goods, and premises to have socials, meetings, and to celebrate weddings, christenings and national holidays. The center will also be of great benefit to Sons of Norway events. Please visit this website for more information and how to make a donation. |
