Watersports...
The lake is clean and perfect for swimming, water skiing, jet skiing, and boating. For fishing enthusiasts, Lauderdale is a great fishing lake, home to Bluegill, Walleye, Northern Pike, and both Large and Small Mouth Bass. Deck/Speed Boats and Pontoon Boats can be rented at the Lauderdale Lakes Marina (262)742-3898 or you may bring your own. There is a boat launch near by and a tie up area available at our pier. On the weekends there is a free waterski show put on by The Lauderdale Lakes Aqua Skiers over in Don Jean Bay and sailboat races on Sunday mornings.

Just a short walk down the road, you'll find the Lauderdale Landing, a restaurant/bar located right on the lake that serves awesome pizza, as well as, many other great entrees. On the weekends, The Landing also opens up their outdoor bar and grill, offering a nice selection of lunchtime favorites for you to enjoy in the outside seating area. In the evenings, they usually have a live band or D.J. inside the bar.

Golf...
For those of you who enjoy golf, there are over 15 courses in the Walworth County area for you to choose from. Lauderdale Lakes has it's own golf course right on the lake and about 2 miles down highway 12 is the Evergreen Golf Course. The Grand Geneva, Geneva National, and Abby Springs, to name a few, are also just minutes away.

Other Activities...
Our lake home is located about 15 minutes north of Lake Geneva, where you can enjoy world-class shopping, fine dining, catch a movie, take a boat tour of the lake, or even take a hot air balloon ride! Only 2 miles from the house you'll find the Kettle Morraine State Park, where you can hike, bike, cross-country ski, horseback ride, rollerblade or just take a very scenic nature walk! There are also many attractions to enjoy in Milwaukee, which is only a short 40 minute drive away! Activities like Summerfest, a great 10 day music concert festival, held at the end of June, which hosts big name performers and serves a large selection of great food! Milwaukee also hosts many other ethnic festivals held on all the other weekends during the summer months as well. You and your family can also visit the Milwaukee County Zoo, take a brewery tour, or check out a Brewer game at Miller Park!

An information binder with all the golf course listings, as well as, many local restaurants and other local activities will be provided at the house.

Fall & Winter...

During the off season the fun doesn't end! In Wisconsin, the fall colors are spectacular, especially around the lake, which makes Autumn the perfect time of year to enjoy nature walks, hayrides, bonfires, and pumpkin or apple picking. A visit to the Elegant Farmer is a must. This quaint country store & bakery (which is open year round) is just a short 15 minute drive into Mukwonago. They offer Trolley Rides and a variety of "fall-type" things to do, including shopping for homemade jams, brats, breads, and their famous "Apple Pie in a Bag"! The winter season creates it's own special enjoyments, with activities like cross-country skiing, ice skating, sledding, ice fishing, downhill skiing, tobogganing, and snowboarding. The house is just minutes away from the Alpine Valley Ski Resort or The Ski Resort at Grand Geneva, two great slopes to enjoy a day of skiing and outdoor fun. And if you are not so much the winter outdoorsy type, there's always a relaxing day at the SPA! Our home is perfect for a "girls weekend" because there are 4 wonderful spas to choose from in the area including
The Fontana Spa at The Abbey Resort, known to be one of the best!
