However, when called to dedicate the Holy Land with Orson Hyde he got lost along the way and the Prophet Joseph in Nauvoo, Illinois became concerned and sought him but never found. Page wandered establishing his own branches of the Church without aproval from the First Presidency of the Church, consequently being excommunicated from the Church for apostacy.
