HOW TO PLAY LADDER GAME

Then, just come into Onuris, which is the room we always play in and let us know you’re a new member!

Just ask for a game, all will be happy to play.

“Call it” is calling the game, which means…..you or your opponent is deciding how many games each and who will play first.   For example, if opponent says 3 and you……they mean 3 games and you first.

Then you will take turns watching each others games till you’ve played all games agreed on.  To watch your opponent’s game, just double click on their name in room and click “watch”.

When their game is over, they will type their score in the rooms chat and you MUST respond and acknowledge their score with “gi” which means got it, or gj (good job) or similar response.

Both players must type their score in chat when done playing their game, and acknowledge their opponents score BEFORE leaving opponents room.

Then you may leave their room by clicking on start.   You must wait until they are watching your game before you start playing.  It will show in blue in your chat screen when they are in watching your game.

Wait for the other player to leave your room before heading to theirs.

Make sure you are writing down both your scores and you opponents scores.   As once you have finished playing all your games, you will add them together and the highest score wins game.

If you win game, you don’t have to do a thing, but if you lose, you have to go to league page and report your loss.

www.myleague.com/the_exiles   (will help if you bookmark this into your favorites).

There is a box on league page that says report loss, put in your name, password and opponent and then submit and it will report the game.

    TOURNEY PLAY:

1.      To join a tourney—usually you will receive a link in im to sign up for a tourney.  Just click on this link and go to register, then enter name, password and check box that states “I’ve read rules” and then enter.

2.    You may also go to the league page and go to box that says “enter tourney”  to register, the td or tourney director will type the “jump number” in room……just type in jump with name and password to enter that way.

3.     A 3rd way of entering is to go to league page and on left side it says tourney calendar, click on that, find the appropriate tourney and time, and click on that and sign up that way.

4.    DO NOT close out the page after you register, as you will need this page to follow along during tourney.

5.    You will not know who you will play until the td has started the tourney.  The td will announce in the chat that standings are up…..go to the tourney page you’ve kept and refresh it.  At top it will say standings….click there and it will show the brackets.  The person on top of bracket always plays first.

6.     It may be show in bracket that you defeated a “bye”, all this means is that you wait until round 2 to play a game as you’ll be waiting for the winner of another game before you start play in tourney.

7.    The number of games will vary from tourney to tourney, the td will always post in room how many games and the rules for tourney.

8.    The person with highest score between you and you opponent will advance to next round of tourney.  YOU WILL NOT REPORT the loss in a tourney, the TD is there to do that for you.   But, you will need to post in room who won/lost.  Example:   BLUE DEF LAT
