LaTonya Nicole's Biography
LaTonya Nicole Benson was born October 20, 1982 in Elkton, Maryland. She was the only child. In elementary school, LaTonya Nicole participated in all the school plays and choir. She attended public school until the end of her 6th grade year.
Her transfer to private school in the 7th grade was a change from what she was use to. But after three years of private school, LaTonya Nicole and her parents decided that it wasn't right for her and transferred to the Charter School of Wilmington where she graduated in 2000.
In her freshmen year of college, she started to have an extreme interest in acting and modeling. She took an acting class at her college where she learned a lot. The next year, LaTonya Nicole started to actively pursue a modeling and acting career.
In September 2001, LaTonya Nicole was signed as a model with OTM Model Management in Philadelphia and became a member of Cecil County, Maryland's Historical Acting Troupe, which travels to different events and schools within Cecil County, Maryland.
LaTonya Nicole recently auditioned for a role in an independant movie. She is currently in the play, Day of Absence, which is being featured in the One Act Festival at the Wilmington Drama League. She is also helping out behind the scenes with a local television show called "Voices of Our Youth".
