DEBORAH PENNELL ROSS

Deborah Pennell Ross is a Lecturer and Director of the Elementary Latin Program in the Department of Classical Studies at the University of Michigan. She has teaching experience in Latin at the high school as well as at the college level, and is particularly concerned with teaching Latin for reading and issues of Latin pedagogy. A linguist by training, her research is in the areas of Indo-European studies, functional grammar, and discourse analysis, and she has published on Latin pedagogy, Latin word order, and various discourse issues in Latin.
