| This was one of the best days in my entire life. The best concert I have ever been too. Shakira is amazing live, I knew she was but being there and feeling her so close to me was an experience I cannot explain. Only shakira fans can understand I am sure, but I was very happy. I had front row tickets, I went with my good shaki fan friend John, and we wre holding a colombian flag and fromt he front rows we were the only ones with a colombian flag so shaki noticed us and paid a lot fo attention to allof us and the cool thing was that many of those people I knew from the net. from shakira boards and forums. We are like our own community. I hang out at www.shakirafanz.com , www.shakirarules.com , www.shakirarules.de mostly. I have met wonderful shaki fans there!!! When shaki was singing "TU" < which happens to be my favorite song of hers> she blew us a kiss, well, I felt it so directly because I blew her a kiss (one of many I blew her that night) and she took it in her heart and then she blew a kiss back! I cannot explain what I felt ...I had to sit down!!!! Shaki made such a great connection with us, the fans!! We were freaking out on our way there because it was raining and it took us like 4 hours to drive from LA to Sandiego but we made it on time! Back then I lived in Hawai'i so I actually flew in on a Thursday to go to the concert on riday and went back home on Saturday...so yeah, it was like $500.00 to see her but it was worth every penny! Now that I live in LA I will see her more, I cannot wait for her next album to come out! I have a great feeling aboutthis one. I mean, I loved Laundry Service but I know many old fans were disspointed, not me, I loved it! But I think this next album will be one of her best! Of course her best #1 is DELL (Donde estan lo ladrones). But shakira is at her best in COncert! Seeing her perform, sing LIVE and she can siiiiiinnnnnggggggggg! not like other fakies who can't ;) but anyways, this concert was awesome and I took those pictures myself (I snuck the camera in the colombian flag and in my shirt ) I took a whole roll of film but I just made a collage of some. Isn't she lovely? |
