~*~ And as she walked away and I looked at my wife/ And then and there I thanked the good Lord/ For the gifts in my life/ Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers/ Remember when you're talkin' to the man upstairs/ That just because he may not answer doesn't mean he don't care/ Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers/ Some of God's greatest gifts are all too often unanswered/ Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers ~*~

Really, like who?
Like you.  Now come on, I need to show you off to all the people in there.  She laughed and we walked back into the gym.  I pulled her out on the floor and gazed in her eyes.  She fixed me, her gaze burning right into my soul.  Her smile melting my heart.  I havent told you this, but I love you more than anything Theresa.
And I love you more than anything too Howard.  I kissed her lips, soft and gentle.  She pulled away and laid her head on my chest.  On that dance floor, I was rather lucky.  I could have had another woman.  But looking back now, she wasnt the same person.  She grew up, we both did.  And we changed.  She wouldnt make me happy now.  Maybe she never could have.  But I knew there was one woman who did.  I kissed her forehead and heard her sigh.  I closed my eyes, thanking God he never left unanswered prayers.
