| �We pay you quite a large sum Megan.� �I�m well aware of that Alex.� �Whatever.� �Where were you last night?� �Are you my keeper?� �No, it�s just that, we were supposed to go out last night and you didn�t come get me.� AJ closed his eyes and I shook my head. �You forgot.� �I�m sorry Megan.� �It�s okay. You can keep the whore. We�re through AJ.� I grabbed my stuff and walked out the door, slamming it behind me. I walked into Nick�s room and saw Theresa fixing him up. She glanced at me and narrowed his eyes. �What?� �AJ was cheating on me. I�m not sure how long it was, but, he didn�t pick me up last night and he was late just now. Plus, I saw the hickey he had.� Theresa slammed the stuff down on her table and ran out of the room. I groaned and followed her into AJ�s room. AJ was sitting on the couch, getting a lash out by Theresa. Half was in English and half in Spanish. Howie walked in and heard the lashing too. Then Theresa slapped him, hard. My eyes opened wide and I stared at her then at AJ. He just shook his head and I knew he wanted to hit her. But, he would never do such a thing. He walked away from her and sat down in his chair. I rolled my eyes and walked out of the room. Theresa caught up with me and gave me a hug. �I�m sorry Meg.� �It�s life.� I walked into Nick�s dressing room and took a seat on the couch. She sat down next to me and in walked Howie. �You cussed him out?� �Yes,� Theresa answered. �In Spanish?� �Yes.� �Why?� �He was cheating on Megan. Not even dating a month, and cheating? For one, I don�t tolerate that. And when I�m really pissed, I cuss in Spanish.� He just nodded his head and walked out of the room. Theresa put her arms around my shoulder and I laid against her. I was laughing at something Nick said when AJ walked up to me. It had been a month since we broke it off, or shall I say, I broke it off. Things with me and him were touchy so we hardly talked. Though, I got close to Howie and Nick. Howie wasn�t into Theresa, I found out, like she wanted. Of course, she took it in stride and they became best friends. It killed her, I know, but oh well, was all I could say. I realized I hadn�t known AJ and that was my mistake. I got with AJ to early. I glanced over at AJ and he looked at me. �Can we talk?� he asked. �Yeah.� We walked into the bunk area and he looked at me. �I�m sorry for the way things went.� �AJ, I�m over it. It was hard. I�ve never had anyone cheat on me before.� �I�m sorry. I know that doesn�t cut it, but I don�t know.� �Just forget it, please?� He smiled and gave me a hug. We walked back into the living area and he took a seat next to Theresa. They got to talkin� about something and she started laughing. �What�s wrong?� Nick asked. �Nothing. AJ just had to apologize.� �Are you going back out with him?� �No.� �Good. Cause my offer still stands?� I glanced at Nick. �What offer?� �If you wanted to go out sometime.� I smiled but nodded my head. �That sounds nice Nick� �Good. How about Friday night?� �Great.� Friday night, I was nervous. Sure, I had become friends with AJ and we realized things we never would have worked as a couple. And Nick was an awesome friend. I pulled my hair back and grabbed my purse. �Bye AJ and Resa.� �Bye chica, have fun,� AJ called out. Resa hit him and he grabbed her hand and just held it. �I see. Later.� I met Nick and he just stared at me. �What?� �I see an angel.� I laughed and we walked out to the limo. He took me to the beach and I saw a blanket and a basket there. He grabbed my hand and we sat down. He poured some wine for me and we talked. We ate the dinner he made and just stared out over the ocean. He grabbed my hand and pulled me close. I leaned against his body, breathing in his scent and loving it. He was perfect. The moon shone down on us and he played with my hair. I felt his arms tighten around me and I turned and looked at him. The back of his hand stroked my cheek and I closed my eyes. I felt his lips lightly on mine and sighed. I kissed him back and enjoyed the wonderful feeling of his lips on mine. He pulled me tighter and his tongue snaked out and opened my lips. My tongue met his and we had a heated duel. My hands ran down his back and he groaned. �Megan,� he said, kissing my neck. �What?� �Say you�ll be mine.� I ran my hands through his hair and smiled. �Of course Nick. I love you.� �I love you too Megan.� His hands removed my clothes and I removed his. We enjoyed the sight of each other. He pushed me on my back and together, we only perfected our love. It was magical and I was glad we were finally together. We laid there, within each other�s embrace and just stared at the stars. I was happy. I took the one chance I got, my true love, cause you know they say that true love comes once. |
