| �Resa?� she yelled. �What?� �Nothing,� she laughed and walked outside with AJ. �What was she working on?� �Some song. I�m not quite sure, but the little I heard from it, it sounds really pretty.� �Does she work on it often?� �Actually, yeah, she does. She comes home and usually does something there or her e on it. I�ve asked her about it, but she doesn�t tell me much. That it�s just something you and her and worked on.� �Oh, she must have come a long way than.� Megan smiled and shook her head. �No, she hasn�t. She has a chorus, that�s about it.� Megan laughed and glanced over at AJ. �So, what movie are we going to see?� �I�m not sure. Something Tiffany wanted to see.� �Oh, is that a good thing?� �Not really. Howie and Theresa would be a way better couple than Howie and Tiffany.� �But?� �Howie�, I don�t know. I think he�s scared. He�s really fallen for her and doesn�t exactly know what to do.� Megan just nodded her head. �She�s loved him for a while.� �Oh, I think we all knew that when she told us she wanted her house purple. Though, way before that, we had it figured out. It�s in the way she looks at him.� �Like how I look at you,� AJ thought to himself. He smiled at her and turned his eyes back to the road. He�ll admit, he fell fast for Megan. She was sweet, caring, wonderful, beautiful, and just so many other things. He had enjoyed the friendship that had come, and figured he would take things slow. Let things develop in their own time. He drew up to a parking and climbed out of the car and helped Megan out. �Let�s go see what�s up with these two, shall we?� Megan nodded and they walked into the restaurant. Megan glanced around her, noticing the few faces and noticing Howie and Tiffany way in the back. They walked up to them, hearing what they were talking about. �Baby, can�t you take a month off for me? My mom want�s us to go with her. Sides, the fans wouldn�t miss you all that much if you left for a while.� �Tiffany, now is not the place to bring this up. I told you before, I couldn�t do and I�m not changing my mind.� �Please, you have to go though. No one says no to my mother.� �Well, I am. Tiff, my fans come first, you know this. Either you accept it or you walk.� Tiffany blinked up at him, surprised. No one ever told her before that she wasn�t top priority, and she wasn�t going to stay around and be second choice. �Fine than Howard, it�s your lose, not mine.� She stood up to walk. �Actually, no Tiffany, it�s not my lose. I should have dumped you a while ago. I was blinded though. Excuse me J, Megan, is Theresa home?� �She might be, I�m not sure though,� Megan answered. �Why?� �I really need to talk to her.� �I thought she would be home, but unless she had made plans, she should still be there.� �Thanks Megan.� He gave her a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek. �I�ve been way to stupid and now I have to change that. Bye you two.� He walked away, leaving behind Megan and AJ. �Well, yeah,� AJ said, following Howie. �That was�odd,� Megan agreed. �Do you want to go out?� �Yeah, I wasn�t hungry anyways. Wanna hit the beach? It�s only about an hours drive.� �Sure.� The climbed in his car and drove off to the beach. They laughed, joked, talked and listened all the way there. The climbed out and walked along the surf, feeling the waves crash against their ankles and feeling the sand in between their toes. They held hands neither really thinking anything of it. They knew they loved each other, and they each had a small notion. AJ stopped walking and looked at Megan. The moon shone down on her making, making her hair seem white, like silk. AJ reached out a hand and let his hands run threw it. She locked eyes with him and slowly the world around them stood still as each leaned in and let their lips connect. They were waiting for the overwhelming feelings, but weren�t excepting for the earth to shake, and the waves to sound like music, soft mellow music, lover�s music. All to sudden the earth shattering kiss ended and the earth began moving again. AJ leaned his fore head against Megan�s. �I have a confession.� �What?� �I�m in love with you Megan.� AJ pulled her close. �I love you too Alex.� He leaned his head down and gave her another earth shattering kiss. �Be mine?� �Babe, you didn�t even have to ask. I�ll admit, I�ve loved you for a very long time.� �I think I truly fell for you the night of the party. Though, I was already in the liking stage when Resa was talking about you.� Megan smiled and leaned against the man she had loved for so long. �You know, this feels like a dream. I had dreamt about the day when you would be mine.� �And?� �It was like this. A very romantic setting, the kiss, just all of it. I couldn�t find a better way to ask someone out.� She smiled up at him and he smiled back. �Well, you do know what they say. AJ is the most romantic one.� She laughed and hugged him. �That he is, and the man I love.� �I love you too.� They walked along the beach a little more, holding on tight to one another, each afraid to never let go of the other. AJ hugged her close, knowing no other woman could ever walk into his life. He had found his other half. And so had Megan. But both promised themselves that time was going to play it�s course. In time, everything would be in harmony, and everything would be perfect. I shook my head and saved the file, this time, it had a title, �If You Knew What I Knew�. I clicked my computer off and turned on the TV. I quickly glanced at the time, it was pushing 10:00. I sighed and curled myself up into a ball on the couch. I watched the old movie, never really paying interest in it. My mind had wondered off. I had worked a lot lately, to drive that damn man from my mind. But I knew it was no use. Megan had told me that she was going out tonight. �Why? Why are you going with her? We would make a better couple D.� �Don�t I know it.� I nearly jumped out of my skin. I quickly sat up and stared at Howie as he sat down on my couch. �Hi.� |
