Stacy walked along the road, her jacket wrapped up tight around her. The wind was blowing, not hard, but errie. The stars were hiding, not casting any light. She shivered, not from the cold, but from fear. Something wasn't right, that much she sensed. Stacy walked faster, cursing the night. She couldn't believe her luck. Her car and her cell phone both died in the same night. She sighed and stopped and looked around her. The road she was on was a dirt road. She had no idea what made her come down this road, but she had. She had no light, and that was beyond stupid. She glanced around again and pulled her jacket tighter. She started walking, hearing the noises of the night. Owls, bugs, the rustle of the trees.  She shivered, more from a feeling than anything else.  She stopped, thinking she was hearing something strange, something different. But what, she didnt know. She shook her head, thinking herself foolish.
"Excuse me?" She turned around, not seeing anyone. 'What the hell,' she thought to herself. She turned back around and saw a man standing in front of her.
"Shit," she said.
"Sorry ma'am, didn't mean to scare you. I was just wondering if you had the time?"
"Um, no I don't, I'm sorry." She started walking more, side passing him up.
"You know, it's dark, you shouldn't be walkin' alone," the guy said.
"I don't mind walking alone. It's better than walking with someone I don't know."
"Let me walk with you. I promise, no harm." She stopped and looked at the guy. She  shook her head and looked around her.
"Fine, you can walk with me. No touching what so ever though." He smiled and she felt goose bumps go down her arms.
"Great. Name is David, it's English. My parents came from England."
"Great, thanks David. Name is Stacy. Anything else you would like to discuss?"
"Actually, yes. How do you like to eat?"
"What?" she asked him.
"Do you eat the poor helpless plants, or do you eat the poor helpless animals?"
"Both."
"Ahh, I see. I prefer other things." She stopped walking and turned to look at him. He turned around and faced her and she noticed his eyes had grown darker. She turned around and started running away and than she felt him grab her "Don't run away Stacy. It isn't smart. Didn't your mama ever tell you not to play with Vampires?"
"Yeah, but it was nothing more than just a story to get me to behave."
"Oh believe me my dear, it's more than a story. We're real, alive, breathing creatures, who feed on innocent unsuspected helpless beings. Just like yourself," he said as he bent his head and slowly covered her mouth with his. He bite her lip, tasting her blood, letting it run through his system. He moaned and than bite her neck, sucking the life out of her. He waited until he felt the tinniest pulse and just let the blood flow. He watched as her body color changed from it's normal peach color to the pale color of death. He groaned and let the wolves come to feed. He walked away, happy that his craving was settled; but dissatisfied that she wasn't the one.
"Dracula?" The man turned around and noticed one of his followers walkin' after him.
"Yes?"
"What do we do with the car?"
"Burn it, it does me no good. She's not the one I'm looking for anyway. But, with her blood, I tasted my friends, so I know I'm close. Go, get rid of it, and her, or whatever little you can get rid of." Dracula walked along the road once more and stopped to rest by a tree. He took a deep breath and noticed the night. A wonderful night to him. He didn't need the stars, all he needed was to find this one woman. He shook his head and continued to walk along the road.

I climbed out of my car and walked along the scene.
"Hey boss?"
"Yeah?"
"Another one."  I shook my head and walked over to the body.  I covered my mouth and felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.
Dont look at it, he whispered in my ear.  I turned into his embrace and he stroked my hair back.
What the hell is going on? I mumbled.
I dont know hon.  I wish I could give you some kind of lead, but I cant.  He softly kissed my forehead and looked down at me.  Are you going to be okay?  I closed my eyes and slowly nodded my head.
Ill be fine.  Lets get this over and done with.  Doum, we know the cause of death?
I hate to say it, but youre going to have to look to see on this one.  I groaned and nodded my head.  I stepped under the caution sign and walked over to the body.  I felt my stomach turn and looked down at the victim.
Kevin?
Yeah babe?
Its Stacy.
What?
Stacy.  Remember she was supposed to come over last night?
Yeah.
This is why.  I bent down and looked her over, my heart turning over for the loss of my friend.  I knew for sure the wolves had gotten a hold of her.  But, wolves dont attack anyone unless they are already injured.  In fact, they dont attack humans unless youre making them hurt you, I thought to myself.  I looked closely, knowing something wasnt right.  I glanced up at her neck, noticing two small bite marks.  My eyes opened wide and I screamed.  I tried to get up, but only succeeded in getting up and falling straight on the ground, my head landing on a rock.

I walked along the road, hearing the carriages pass me by, my mission plan as day in my mind.  It was night, the moon wasnt out.  Of course not, it was his time to play.  Cant have any shadows dancing around you, fooling the innocent, helpless minds.  I stopped next to the wall, watching the people go by, returning home or going to the local bar to catch up on the days events.
Can I help you young lady? the driver of a carriage asked me.  I glanced up at the man.
No.  Unless you can take me to the top of the hill?
That hill is haunted.  No one goes over there at night.
You dont understand mister, I need to go up there.
