| Something that would change me and the way I thought forever. And the day I packed up to go, I hugged all my friends and told them they had to visit. They said it was to soon for me to be thinking like this, but I knew it wasn�t. You can�t put a time on love, right? I laid down in my bed, once again, this time, the last time. Tomorrow I was on a flight to Florida to spend my life with my man. - I was on the flight, watching as the ocean came into view. I was flying over it cause that was the only path the plane could go. I saw the water moving all around and started getting scared. We weren�t that close to Florida for me to see the water that clearly. And I glanced away from the window when I heard the captain saying one of our engines was malfunction and we were going down, and going down pretty fast. � I woke up with a start and sat up in bed. I shook my head and glanced around me. I let the tears fall and wished Howie was here. *~* Watching every motion/ In this foolish lover's game/ Haunted by the notion/ Somewhere there's a love in flames/ Turning and returning/ To some secret place inside/ Watching in slow motion/ As you turn my way and say/ Take my breath away/ Take my breath away *~* I sat there in Florida, waiting for Howie to come get me. He told me that he had to fly somewhere but our flights would come in around the same time. And here I was, sitting here for the last 45 minutes, wondering where he was. I bite my lip and look all around me. Everyone was going about their lives when a gut feeling told me, mine was over. I saw some people on the phone, talking to the teller and they started crying. I smiled, feeling bad for those people. Someone must have passed on. I got my nerve and walked over to the couple. �Ma�am, are you guys okay?� �Oh, miss, were you waiting for the flight coming from South Carolina?� �Yes, why?� �The plane went down, some kind of trouble or malfunction. They lost all the lives on there.� I looked at her and in a moments time saw my life and dream flash before my eyes. I shook my head and sat down. �Are you okay?� �My soul mate was on that flight,� I mumbled. *~* Watching every motion/ In this foolish lover's game/ Haunted by the notion/ Somewhere there's a love in flames/ Turning and returning/ To some secret place inside/ Watching in slow motion/ As you turn my way and say/ Take my breath away/ Take my breath away *~* I sat with the guys and hung my head. I looked up at the sunny sky and loved the feel of the sun on my face. It was a reminder that my love may have gone, but he was waiting for me to join him. And as the tears fall, the wind picked up and it felt like a caress across my skin. I held my breath and just smiled. Even when you are up in Heaven, watching me, you could still Take My Breath Away.
