�Um, excuse me,� someone said as they tapped her on her shoulder. She turned around and there was Howie.
�May I have this dance?� Howie asked as the song �God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You� came on.
�Sure D,� she said.

�Well, since your man is with my girl, would you mind dancing with me?� AJ asked as he walked up behind me.
�No, Bone, I wouldn�t mind,� I said.
�Hey Theresa?� AJ said.
�Yeah?�
�Do you think Shannon would mind us dancing?�
�No. She trusts you and me.�
�Just making sure,� AJ said.
�I know.� I just smiled at him as the song ended. He just smiled back and we both knew that Shannon would never be pissed at us. Well, at least we thought.
�What the HELL do you think your doing with my man?� Shannon asked.
I just looked at her and simply said �I wanted AJ�. AJ just looked at me with that look that says �what? I don�t think so�. Howie came up and you could see in his eyes, the smile that he was trying to hide. He just couldn�t hold it anymore so he busted out laughing. Then me and Shannon joined in.
�You know AJ. You really should watch out for me and Theresa. We always play little jokes like that.�
AJ started laughing.
We all danced a couple more songs and soon realized that the time was going on 7:00. The four of us, Howie, Shannon, AJ and I, walked out. I gave AJ a hug and he kissed me on the cheek. �You look very nice Theresa,� AJ said. I just gave him a smile and said thank you.
Howie went over to Shannon, gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
�You look very beautiful, by the way,� Howie said smiling at her.
�Thanks,� she said, smiling back.
I walked over to Shannon, gave her a hug and told her to have a good time. As I started walking away, I turned around and yelled at Shannon. She turned around and I mouthed �have fun� and gave her a wink. She just laughed and got into AJ�s car.

�AJ, how was you car at the party?� Shannon asked.
�I drove it over before we went to pick you guys up.�
�Okay. I was just wondering.� Shannon leaned over and gave AJ a quick kiss on the cheek. He just looked over at her, wishing he could have her here and now.
�What are you thinking?� Shannon asked.
�Oh, nothing really,� he said noticing the light had turned green. They pulled in front of AJ�s house.
�You know, AJ, you can tell me anything?� Shannon asked.
�Yeah, I know,� he answered.
�So, then why don�t you tell me what your were thinking?� she asked again, this time sitting closer to him. She bent down and slowly started kissing his neck.
�I was thinking that what your wearing isn�t right. Come on inside,� he said. Shannon followed AJ into the living room. On the couch was a present and it was for her. She just looked at AJ and he told her to open it. She did and found a beautiful dress make of a blue silk. It was strapless and had two slits on the side that ran up to her thighs. She ran into AJ�s arms and thanked him. He told her to change. By the time they were ready to leave, it was 7:45.

�Howie, why are you taking me to your house?� I asked. I knew he made dinner plans but I didn�t think it was at his house, though, that would have been nice.
�I forgot something. Come on,� he said. He helped me out of his car and we went into his house.
�Go sit down on the couch well I�ll got get something,� he told me. I sat down on the couch but couldn�t stay. I went over to see all the pictures of him.
�Didn�t I tell you to sit?� Howie asked, a smile in his eyes.
�Yeah, I guess.�
�Come here,� he said while he grabbed my hand and kissed it. He sat me down on his lap. He handed me a box. I opened it and inside there was the purple velvet dress from Caliente, that I wanted. Tears started coming to me eyes. Howie kissed them away as they fell.
�Thank you,� I said.
�I know you wanted it. Your more then welcome,� he said kissing me. I let the box fall to the floor as Howie got me down on the couch. He started kissing my neck. He stopped and looked into my eyes. We both knew that we couldn�t do that tonight. Howie slowly raised me up and gave me a hug.
�I love you,� he said.
�Te amo,� I told him.
�We should get ready,� he said, not letting me go.
�Well, I would but how can I? You won�t let me go,� I said.
By the time we were ready to leave it was 8:15.
�So, where are we going?� I asked.
�I�m not going to tell you,� he said as he helped me into the car.

�They arrived at the restaurant at 8:15. AJ pulled Shannon�s chair out for her. He leaned down and kissed her cheek, then her earlobe, and then her neck. AJ sat down right next to her and they just gazed into each other�s eyes.
�Excuse me. What would you like to order?� the waiter asked, interrupting the moment.
�Okay. 2 special please?� AJ asked.
�Yes sir. Would you like anything to drink?� the waiter asked.
�Two glasses of your best red wine, please,� AJ asked.
�Coming right up sir,� the waiter said leaving them alone once again.
�Come Shannon. Let�s dance,� AJ said reaching out and grabbing Shannon�s hand. AJ wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. The next few songs were slow and then the song �I Do� by 98* came on. AJ tilted Shannon�s chin up and gazed into her eyes. He bent down and gave her a kiss. AJ slid his hands up and down her back which sent chills up and down her spin. AJ slowly opened his mouth and Shannon followed. AJ slid his tongue into her mouth. The kiss exploded. Shannon never wanted to let AJ go. Finally they pulled apart.
