| �Okay. Let�s order,� Nick called out. The time flew by fast in the pizza place. We left there at 7:30 and arrived at the fair at 8:00. �Okay, Shannon come on. I know this really fun ride and I want you to go with me on it,� AJ said. �I would love to go with you.� �Well, sorry guys, but Howie has to go win me big teddy bear.� I said as I started pulling Howie away from the group. �Later guys. Oh, yeah, let�s all meet at the Ferris wheel around 11:00. Then we can leave, okay?� Howie asked. Everyone agreed. �Okay. Where would you like to go Shannon?� AJ asked. �Um, let�s go on that ride. It sounded like a lot of fun.� �Cool. It�s back behind us.� �So Theresa, still want that teddy bear?� Howie asked. �Yeah. Oh, look. That little stand has the cutest bears.� �Okay.� As we approach the stand I noticed that a group of girls had stopped and just looked me and Howie. Then one of the girls asked her friend if that was Howie D. from the Backstreet Boys. �Excuse me, Mr.Drough. Can I���..can I have your autograph?� One of the girls asked. Howie turned around and simply said �sure�. �Thanks you so very much. I love you!� �Thanks,� he called back as the girl was leaving with her group of friends. �Oh my God. That ride was so much fun,� Shannon exclaimed. �Well, I�m glad that you enjoyed it. It�s really one of my favorite rides.� �So, what would you like to do AJ?� �Well, would you like a teddy bear?� he asked. �Sure.� The next two and a half hours flew by so fast. Before we knew it, it was pushing 11:00. The finale ride that we went on was the Ferris wheel. The first cart was Shannon and AJ, the second cart was me and Howie. �Just to let you know AJ, we do need to get going soon,� Shannon said. �This will be the last ride. Though I don�t want it to be,� AJ said. The next few minutes were Heaven for both me and Shannon. It was a little cold for me on the ride, so Howie put his arm around me and said that �if you want, you can come closer.� �Thanks. I really didn�t think it would end up being this cold.� �It�s okay. Just use my warmth,� he said to me, throwing in one of his heart melting smiles. As I got closer, Howie put his arm around my shoulders. We all knew that the ride had ended, and all of us were the last two carts to get off because we were on the top. �You know, I think they would make a cute couple,� Shannon said turning around to see what Howie and I were doing. �Yeah. Again, like us,� AJ agreed. AJ looked down at Shannon with his beautiful brown eyes, and slowly he put his hand underneath her chin and tilted it up. Then he bent forward and gave her the lightest kiss. But at the same time, it was the most wonderful kiss she had ever received. The world stopped and she was in Heaven. As she opened her eyes, she just sat in the cart and looked into those brown eyes. What finally brought her out of her spell was the Ferris wheel moving. �Wow. That was really sweet. Don�t you agree?� I asked Howie, after we watched AJ and Shannon kiss. �Yes, it was,� Howie agreed. I noticed that he moved closer. I tilted my head up to see if I could see what he was thinking. He put his hand on my cheek. He bent down and I bent up. We slowly kissed and all around me, I could feel fireworks going off. I put my arms around his neck and after a few seconds we pulled back. As the Ferris wheel was moving, we just sat there, gazing into each other�s eyes. �Hey you guys. Come on. We�re going to be late,� Nick called out. �What?� Howie asked. He still seemed a little dazed over out little kiss. I looked over at Shannon and I knew that both of them were a little dazed too. �We need to drop the girls off and we need to get home. We have that interview tomorrow at like 8:00, right?� Nick asked. �It�s not till 10:00 Nick,� Kevin stated. �Oh, okay,� Nick said �Hey, you guys can we go back to my house and can we just chill?� I asked the guys. �That�s cool,� they all agreed. As we were walking out, Howie and I were holding hands and Shannon and AJ had their arms around each other�s waist. Every girl was looking at us and giving me and Shannon such dirty looks. �Hey Theresa,� Shannon called real softly, hoping the guys didn�t hear her. �What?� I asked. She just mouthed �did you see the girls giving us evil looks�. I just nodded my head and a huge grin came up on my face. The ride back to my house was fun, well at least according to Shannon. I was a little cold since the top was down. Then Howie said I could lean close to him. For the rest of ride I was leaning in his arm. By the time we reached my house, it was pushing 12:15. As I stepped into my house, the phone rang. �Hello?� I asked. �Hi. How are you and where have you been?� my mom asked me. �Well, mom, you won�t believe it,� I answered. �I don�t care. You better tell me now.� �Okay. Sunday night we met up with BSB and basically this whole day was spent with them,� I said. �Okay, your right, I don�t believe it. I want proof.� �Okay, hold on. Hey Boys, sing �All I Have to Give�. Listen very closely mom.� |
