He got up off the bed and wrapped his arms around Shannon. �I�m trusting you with my stuff,� she whispered. �I promise I�ll take car of everything,� he said. �Okay. I have to get going. I love you,� she said. �I love you, too.� The walked to the front room and waited. �God, how could I have forgotten about this,� I said. I jumped out of bed and went to put my robe on. �I�m sure he�ll understand. And it�s not like your going to miss him leave.� �That�s true D. But Lance knows that I�m always there an hour before he leaves.� �I understand.� Howie got out of bed and followed me into the bathroom. I put on a little makeup and got dressed. �Sorry, but I have to get going.� �Go, don�t let me keep you waiting.� �D, come here,� I ordered him. He slowly walked over to where I was standing. I wrapped my arms around his neck. �Look, I promise we can do something tonight, okay?� �Yeah, okay. I love you, mi amor.� �Te amo.� I gave him a kiss and walked out of my room. �Come on Shannon,� I told her, walking out the door. We jumped in the car and arrived at the airport around 11:15. We reached the gate at 11:20. �Lance,� I called out. He turned around and smiled at us. �Hey. For a minute there, I thought you forgot about me,� he said as he gave Shannon a hug. �How could we?� she asked. �I know. Are you going to be okay my Squeaky?� Shannon pulled away and smiled. She gave Lance a kiss on the cheek. �Yeah. I�m sure everything is gonna be all right.� �By that smile, I see everything is already all right. I wish you the best. Love ya.� �Love you too Lance.� She gave him one last hug. He just turned to me and wiped the tear away that fell. He pulled me into a hug. �I�m gonna miss you,� I whispered. �I�ll miss ya too. But your in good hands, so don�t worry.� �I can�t thank you enough for being there.� �Trust me, it was no problem. You know that I�m always there for you.� �Excuse me. Flight 769 to Orlando is now leaving,� the radio system called. �Well, Lance, I guess I�ll see ya later. Give me a call when you get in okay?� �Yeah. Lates. Theresa, once again, I�m always here. Love you.� �I love you too,� I said as I gave him a kiss on the cheek. He let me go and walked to the gate. He turned back around and waved. He then turned back around and left. I wiped a tear away and looked at Shannon. We left and decided that we should go shopping. I handed Shannon my cell phone. She called the house and heard AJ pick up the phone. �Hey sweetie,� she said. �Sup?� �Oh, Resa and I were going shopping. See ya in about 4 hours.� �HELL NO! NOT WITH OUT US!!!� I heard AJ yell. �Sorry hon. We�re already on the road.� �Turn the car back around, please,� he begged. She moved the phone away from her mouth and started laughing. �Theresa, should we pick them up?� she asked. �Here, let me talk to Alex,� I said. She handed me the phone. �AJ, man, what�s up?� �Please, pick us up,� he once again begged. �AJ, darling, I don�t know. I mean, let us think about it, okay?� �Yeah.� After two seconds, �well?� �AJ, I�m still thinking. I mean, you guys are so far away and we�re already in town.� �But still. You guys are going without me and Howie. You can�t do that,� he said. �AJ, was that an order?� �Well, um, yeah,� he responded. �Shannon, tell your man how I handle someone who�s ordering me to do something.� I said, as I handed the phone over to her. �Oh, AJ, what did you order her to do?� �Well, that she can�t go shopping without us.� �Big NO. A little word of advice, don�t tell the Bitch what to do. She could something like this.� �Like what?� he asked. I slipped into the house and started tickling him. Shannon came in right after me and joined in on the fun. �D��D��..please�..help,� AJ got out. �Let me see. Should I or shouldn�t I?� Howie said. He bent down and started tickling me. �D, no,� I said. But he had me on the floor. I looked at my left and saw Shannon there. �Okay, okay, you guys won,� I spat out. Howie stopped tickling and gave me a hug. AJ stopped tickling Shannon. �So, what�s the plan?� AJ asked. �Well, do you guys want to go shopping?� I asked. �Sure. Just let us to get ready,� Howie answered. �Wait, ladies first,� I told him. I slipped into my bedroom and Howie followed me. �I�m off to take a shower. Give me about 15 minutes, okay?� I told Howie. He just sat down on the bed flipped on the TV. �Okay.� I went to my bathroom and jumped into the shower. 5 minutes into my shower and after I just shaved my legs, I felt a hand travel up my leg and then I felt a arm around my waist. �I figured it would save us some time if we showered together,� Howie whispered in my ear. I felt him start to kiss my neck. �You thought this would save us time. I think it�s going to make everything longer. Howie, I have a question.� �Ask away.� �Have you ever heard of the shower being the best place?� �Actually, yes I have.� �Would you like to try?� �I like you idea of thinking,� he said. He pressed his lips against mine as he gently pushed me back against the wall. �Just this once, I don�t think we need anything.� |
