| �Okay Theresa. I believe you.� He bent forward and kissed me. �I love you too,� he whispered against my lips. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close. Then he picked me up and carried my to my bed. He walked over to my stereo and put in a CD. The next thing I heard was �I�ll Never Break Your Heart� in Spanish. Howie walked over to the bed and sat down. I could hear him singing above the stereo. He slowly laid down next to me and pulled me close. I decided I wanted to start something, so I laid down on top of him. He put his hands on my back and ran them up and down my spine. My lips pressed against his with no gentle pressure. He slowly ran his hand up to my bra. At the bottom, he stopped. I just pulled away and gazed into his eyes. �It�s okay,� I told him. �But, Howie, um, we do need protection,� I said. �Yeah.� He gently pushed me off and reached back into his pants pockets. I saw that he had pulled out a small package. He wrapped his arms around me and slowly lowered me down again. I wrapped my arms around his neck and played with his hair. He removed his lips from mine and slowly trailed down to my neck. I thought about how much I loved him and how glad I was knowing he would be my first. �What�s so funny?� he asked me. I just looked into his eyes. �It�s not that it�s funny. But I never thought that you, of all people, would end up being my first,� I told him. He just smiled at me and intertwined my fingers with his. �Never know what could happen,� he told me. He then bent down again and started kissing me. Shannon laid awake just thinking about how AJ was her first. She smiled at the memory. �This may hurt Shannon,� AJ warned her. She just looked into his eyes and whispered that she trusted him. She turned around to watch him sleep. �How peaceful he is,� she thought. She leaned up and gently gave AJ a kiss. His eyes slowly opened and just looked at her. �Good morning,� AJ said. �Good morning.� AJ pulled her closer to him and gave her a hug. �What time is it?� AJ asked. He was figuring around 4:00, but he wasn�t exactly sure. �Um, it�s 3:34,� Shannon said. She rolled back over and snuggled closer to AJ. She traced little drawings on his chest with her finger. �That was a wonderful experience. Wonder if he�s up for some more,� Shannon thought. She felt AJ put his hands on her back and started caressing. She lightly kissed AJ�s chest, right were her fingers were. AJ tilted her head up and looked into her eyes. What he saw made him smile. �Damn girl, how much I love you,� AJ thought. He put his lips on Shannon�s. When they pulled away, a breathless �again� came from Shannon. AJ slowly pushed Shannon on her back and he followed. Shannon and AJ�s tongues met up again. �AJ, I love you. But, um, we still need protection,� Shannon said. �I know,� he said against her neck. He reached for his pants on the floor and into his back pocket and pulled out another little package. I opened my eyes and found that my head was laying on Howie�s chest and he had his arm around me. I rolled over and checked the time. It was quarter till 4:00. I tried to get out of bed but Howie held me down. I saw that he was watching me. �Hi,� I whispered. �Hola mi amor,� he replied. I saw a smile appear on his lips. �What?� I asked. �Nothing.� �Oh no. Don�t give me that nothing bullshit. What�s so funny?� �Oh, just to let you know. What Neil said wasn�t the truth,� he told me. I just looked down, recalling what Neil said. �Well, thank you,� I replied. I looked up and into his eyes again. �So, you go back to school on Monday, right?� �Yeah. Lance is leaving this afternoon.� �Oh,� Howie said. �What?� �Nothing.� �Yeah, sure. You don�t think there was anything going on between me and him, did you?� �Well.� �Howard. No why? I mean, you knew the story and you knew that I loved you.� �I guess. I don�t know why I assumed anything.� �Well, don�t worry. I�m here with you now and that�s all that matters.� �Yeah.� He gave me a kiss but I didn�t pull away. He slowly slid his tongue into my mouth. I moved so that now, I was on top of him. �Howie, mi corazon, I�m hungry,� I whispered as I pulled away. Howie switched me positions and reached for his pants. I guessed I closed my eyes because when I opened them, I felt something in my hand. I looked into Howie�s eyes and just about melted. He was bent down and his hair fell down. I just wished I could have taken a picture. He was way too cute. He slowly bent his head down and gave me a kiss. �You lied to me! I should leave you. Neil was right� �No. No, don�t say that,� I mumbled. �I love you. Now and forever. Please, it�s bad enough being gone for a few days. But months? What, what did I do to you?� I asked. I kept mumbling during my sleep, but I woke up when someone was shaking me. �Theresa. Theresa, wake up.� I just rolled over in Howie�s arms and buried my head in his chest. �Shh, it�s going to be okay. I�m here.� �Is she okay?� I heard Shannon ask. I raised my head up and looked her over. She was standing by my door in her bathrobe. I looked behind her and saw AJ in his boxers. �Yeah, I�m okay. I just had a bad dream. That�s all,� I said. �By the way, what time is it?� Howie looked over at the clock and said �10:45.� �What?� both Shannon and I yelled. I saw Shannon quickly run out of the room and into her�s. AJ just looked at us and followed. �Shannon?� AJ asked. �Hmm?� she mumbled, putting on her clothes. �Where do you think you�re going?� he asked as he sat down on her bed. �Lance�s flight is leaving in 45 minutes. Theresa and I were going to say goodbye. You can stay here. We should be back around 12:00 or so.� �Okay.� Shannon looked over at AJ. �Ah, sweetheart, don�t worry. We�ll do something special tonight, okay?� |
