I said, leave now asshole.  Do you have a problem with your hearing? I said.  I dont know where I got the courage to say any of this, but I knew that they needed to leave.  I twisted my arm out of Neils grasp and I stood up.  I turned around and just looked at him.  I walked over to Shannon and pulled her away.  We got in the car and drove over the McDonalds.  Is this okay? I asked.
Yeah.  We got out of the car.  We went in and she went to go order.  I found a place next to the window to sit at.   A few minutes later, she came over.  Theresa, where did you get the courage to say that stuff to Neil?
I have no idea.  I just figured they wouldnt leave if we didnt say anything.  Them being there, treating us like that, and then the Boys, everything together just made me blow up.
Oh.  I kinda figured something like that happened.   We sat there and talked.  We really tried to keep our minds off of the guys, but it wasnt easy.  I looked out the window and froze.  Coming up to the doors was Brian followed by Nick and Kevin.  I just nudged Shannon and she looked in that direction.  I really prayed they wouldnt see us.  We had no problem with the guys, just we werent sure if AJ and Howie were soon to follow.  I just put my head down but I was to late.  Brian had already seen us.  He told the Boys what to get and come over to us.
Hi, he said.
Hi Brian, I said.
Hey, Shannon said.
So, how are you two? he asked.  I just looked over at Shannon.
Well, living, she answered.
Oh, I see.  Anything new happen?
Not really, I said.  I knew that Brian didnt know about out past relationships and I didnt feel like telling him now.
Um, Theresa, did you used to go out with Lance Bass?
Why?
I saw you at the airport and heard Howie mumble something like I hope she isnt going out with him again.
Oh, yeah, Lance is my ex-boyfriend.  But we broke up when he started making it big with N Sync.  And if Howies wondering whats going on between me and him, tell him nothing.  Hes just a really good friend of mine.
Oh okay.  He was worried that you were going back to him.  Brian was going to say more but Nick talking stopped him.
Hey guys, I said.
Hey.  Are you ready to go Brian? Kevin asked.
Yeah.  Can I have your phone number?  I just wanna make sure that you two are doing okay, Brian asked.  I gave it to him on a napkin and he put it in one of the bags.  The guys waved bye and got in the limo.  We stayed there for another 45 minutes and just talked.

Brian stepped into Howie and AJs room.
Its here, he called out.  AJ came out of the bedroom and grabbed the food.  He took it to the table and pulled out his food, but he also found something else.  It was a napkin folded up.  AJ opened it up and read the numbers.
You got their phone number? AJ asked, looking up at Brian.
Whose phone number? Howie asked, pulling out his food.
The girls, AJ answered, handing the number to Howie.  He took it and just looked at it.  He slowly got up and went over to the phone.  He dialed the phone number and the answering machine picked up.
Get Down, Get Down and move it all around.  Hi, Im Shannon and Im Theresa.  Sorry were not
here right now, cause were out partying.  So, please leave a message, and if its not to later, well
call back.  Laters!
Here we are, in the arms of one another, Howie sang.  But then he put the phone down.  Theresa would understand.  She knows that Im still thinking about her, he thought.
So, tell me Brian, did you met up with the girls? AJ asked.
Yeah.  I talked to them a little.  Oh, by the way D, Theresa is not going back to Lance.
Oh okay, Howie said.
Whos their ex-boyfriends, by the way? Brian asked.
Wh..what?  Why? AJ asked.
Oh, I over heard Shannon say something about a Neil and Ricky.
Who? Howie asked.
Neil and Ricky, Brian repeated.  Howie looked over at AJ.  The both knew something happened.
Did she say anything else? Howie asked.
No, just that, Brian answered.
Okay, AJ said.  He looked over at D and D looked back.  They gave a look to each other saying they would find out.

I walked in the door and saw a message on the machine.  I turned the light on and went over to the machine and  played the message.  I heard our little message and then I hear here we are, in the arms of one another and a click.  I just stood there, frozen.  Brian, Im going to kill ya, I thought.  I went over and played it again.  I thought about the beach and how he sang that to me.  Hes thinking about me.  He still cares, I thought.
Was that Howie? Shannon asked, coming out of her bedroom.  I just nodded my head.  I erased the message and ran back to my bedroom.  I fell on my bed and cried.  15 minutes later I heard a knock on my door.
Come in, I mumbled.
Hey Esa, a deep voice said.
Esa?  Gosh, Kevin.  Ive never heard that before, I said, sitting up.
Thanks.  How are you doing? he asked.
Oh, you have to ask?
Sorry.  I heard he called.
Yeah.  He..he..did.  I could feel the tears falling from my eyes.  Kevin came over and sat down on my bed.  He drew me into a hug.  I leaned my head on his shoulder.  God, why?
Shh, dont cry, Kevin whispered in my ear.  He rubbed my back, trying to help me calm down.  I just sat there, letting him hold me.  I cried on his shoulder for almost 30 minutes, but he didnt seem to mind.  I slowly fell asleep in his arms.  I felt him laying me down and starting to leave.
