| "Well, you already know I like that.� Shannon reached for the radio to turn it up. �I Want It That Way� was on. �Okay. I guess we�re the first ones. Let�s just wait in here,� AJ suggested. �Nope. It�s to nice outside to wait in here,� Shannon said as she got out of the car. She went to go sit down on the trunk. AJ followed her and lifted her from her waist and sat her down on the trunk. He wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his head there. �AJ?� �Hmm?� �Can we go back to your place? I think D and Resa have some things they need to finish talking about and so do we.� �Oh? Like what kind of talking?� �Like this,� Shannon said. She bent her head down and gave him a kiss. AJ ran his hands up her back. He only reached the bottom of her bra. �Damn, going back to my place may not be the best idea,� AJ thought. They pulled apart when they heard honking. The looked at the car and saw it was the boys. �Hey, can I ask you a question Nick?� Brian asked. They just left DisneyWorld and were going to McDonald�s. �Sure man, go ahead,� Nick said, watching the road. �Are you starting to like Theresa?� �What? Why?,� Nick said. He glanced over at Brian. �Are you starting to like Shannon?� �I don�t know. I want to say no, but I can�t. I mean, she�s a wonderful friend and all, but I can�t stop what I�m feeling for her.� �I understand what you mean. Theresa is just so cool. I don�t understand why she�s with D. Well, he loves her and she loves him, but still.� �You know Nick, you should talk to Shannon. And you cos, you should talk to Theresa. Maybe they can answer your questions for you,� Kevin said from the back seat. He was listening to all of this. Of course, he knew the boys well enough to know that they liked the girls. And was certain AJ and Howie knew too. �Yo, Kev, your right. That�s what we�re going to do,� Nick said. They pulled into McDonald�s and Brian�s heart sunk. He saw Shannon kissing AJ. �Wait, no, I�m falling for my buddy�s girl. No way,� he thought. They got out of the car and went to talk to the couple. �Howie, say something. You�ve been quite since I told you about the tattoo. Now either you don�t want me to get it or something else is just bothering you,� I said. I looked over at Howie. He went to turn the radio up since their song �I Want It That Way� came on. I reached over and turned it down. He looked over at me. �What? Can�t I listen to the song,� he said. I reached over and turned it back up for him. I looked outside the window to watch the stars. �What was up with him? He�s the one being an asshole and I get yelled at. That�s so uncool,� I thought. I felt the car pull over and stop. �Theresa, look at me,� he said as he reached out for me. I slapped his hand away. �Leave me alone. If you wanna be a jackass, that�s fine by me, but remember I�m the one who ended the relationship,� I said as I looked over at him. He looked into my eyes. He could see the anger in the way I talked but he could also see how much he hurt me in my eyes. �Look, Theresa, I�m sorry. I guess I was thinking about how Nick likes you. You know how much that hurts knowing one of my buddies likes my girl,� he said. He looked over at me. �Howard, you have nothing to worry about. I love you and not Nick. Yes, he�s a good friend, but that�s all. You will always have my heart, and don�t ever forget that,� I said as I bent over and kissed him. He�s phone started ringing, so he answered it. �Hey man, what�s up? Okay, yes, we�ll be there in a few. That was Kev. They�re waiting for us.� As we pulled into the parking lot we saw everyone gathered around AJ�s car. Howie got out and pulled me out of the car. We went to go talk with the guys and Howie had his arms around my waist the whole time. �It�s about time you showed up D. Where were you?� AJ asked. �Sorry guys, we had to talk about something,� Howie answered. �Come on, I�m hungry,� she said. AJ helped her off of the trunk. Everyone went inside but Howie and I stayed outside a bit. �Let�s finish what we started,� he said. He pulled me closer to him and we kissed. �Hey come on guys,� Nick called out. �Ouch, that hurt,� he thought as he saw us kiss. �I�m hungry Howie.� �Okay then. Let�s go eat,� he said as he grabbed my hand. �No, let�s just go to my place,� I said. He looked into my eyes and figured out what I meant. �Later, I promise.� We walked inside and got our food. After being there an hour we all finally left. We decided to go do something the following day. The boys told me and Howie they would call. �Hey Theresa. What time do you want together?� AJ asked. �Oh, how about 9:00. I think I�ll still be asleep so I shouldn�t feel any pain,� I said with a smile. �That�s cool. I�ll call, though, before I leave,� he said. He gave me a hug and Shannon and him left. �You know, I�ll still be asleep at 9:00 tomorrow?� Shannon asked AJ. �Yeah. I think I will be too,� he said. He looked over at Shannon. �Damn, it�s still not a good idea to have you over at my place,� he thought. �What are you thinking about?� Shannon asked. �Nothing really. Just wondering what you�re going to sleep in,� he said as they pulled into his driveway. �Oh, I didn�t think of that. Take me back to my place and I�ll pick something out,� Shannon said. AJ got out of the car and helped Shannon out. �I�m sure I have something you can burrow,� AJ whispered into her ear. �Or you don�t have to wear anything at all,� he thought. AJ opened the door and found a message on his answering machine. He went over to play it and it was his mom. She asked if he wanted to come over for dinner on Friday. He looked at the time and it was 11:30. His mom should still be up. Shannon went to sit down on the couch and turned the TV on and flipped through the channels. AJ got off the phone with his mom and sat down next to Shannon. �Would you like to meet my mom tomorrow night?� AJ asked. �Sure. I guess we�re going over there for dinner?� �Yeah. Do you mind?� AJ asked. He looked a little worried that she might not want to go. �No, I don�t mind. I would love to go,� she said, bending over and giving him a kiss on the cheek. He put his arm around her shoulders. They cuddle as they watched the movie but soon lost interest. They sat gazing into each others eyes. They slowly bent forward and kissed. It was soft and gentle but Shannon didn�t want that. She slowly pushed AJ back on the couch. She slid her tongue in his mouth and roamed. She let one hand stay on his chest while the other ran through his hair. She pulled away from his lips and trailed down to his neck. AJ let out a soft moan out when she hit his soft spot. |
