| "Hey AJ?� Shannon called. AJ came running over and wrapped his arms around her waist. �Who�s Emily?� she asked as AJ was bending down to give her a kiss. He just stopped. �What?� he asked. �Who is Emily?� Shannon asked again. �Emily is Howie�s ex-girlfriend,� AJ said. He started to let go of Shannon. He was hoping she didn�t ask him anymore. �Why did they break up?� �Because,..um,..well..maybe you should ask Howie,� he said. �I�m sorry. I shouldn�t have asked who she was. You didn�t have to answer the question,� she said. �No, but I figured you should at least know who she is.� AJ pulled her back into his arms and gave her a sweet kiss. �Hey, AJ,� Howie said, looking over. He shut up right away. Shannon looked over at Howie with a look that said shut-the-fuck-up-or-your-going-to-die. Howie bent down and whispered in my ear �help, please�. �Sorry, no. You should look next time. But, we could always follow what they�re doing,� I said as I went to kiss him. �Yo, D, we should start heading back,� AJ said as he pulled away from Shannon. He looked over at Howie and me and just cringed. Howie and I were on the blanket and Howie was giving AJ an evil look. �D, he�s right,� I said, placing my hand on his face and making him look at me. I gave him a peck and he helped me up. AJ lifted Shannon out of the water and carried her to the house. �They make a cute couple,� Howie said, bending down and wrapping his arms around me from behind. He put the bag that held everything on his shoulder. He turned me around and kissed me. Then he lifted me up from my waist and we walked like that for a little ways and we kissed. He put me down and we walked back to the house hand in hand. We arrived at the house by 3:00. The boys left and said they�d pick us up around 5:45. �We�re call you to make sure you guys are ready?� AJ said, giving me a kiss on the cheek and giving Shannon a passionate kiss. �Yeah. See you in a few,� Howie said, pulling me into his arms and kissing me. He pulled apart and they left. �Okay Shannon, we need to talk,� I said. �Let�s go to the couch and get comfy,� she said pulling me to the couch. �Who should go first? Actually, I want to hear about AJ,� I said. �Okay, I�ll spill. But first, any questions?� �Yes. Are those your only two hickeys?� �Yes. Okay, AJ is one hell of a kisser, if you couldn�t tell. Anyways, it takes place on the couch.� �What? The one I�m sitting on?� I asked. �Yes,� she said with a devilish grin. �Did you go all the way?� I asked. I was hoping she didn�t. �No. Okay, I�m going on. Well, we�re down on the couch and his hands and lips, are like so unbelievable. I never knew that a man�s kiss could be so sweet. Anyways, we exchanged kisses, touchings, and hickeys. It was truly a night I�ll never forget,� she said. She just stared off into space thinking about last night. �Oh, and then your dad called. I�m glad he called. Lord only knows what could or would have happened. Then he went and took a cold shower. We talked about things in my room and then we fell asleep in each other�s arms.� �Wow, sounds like you had a fun night. I think I�m going to go lay down.� �That�s cool. Wait,� she called out. Shannon followed me into my room and sat down on my bed. �You have to tell me what went on last night,� she said. �Can�t I tell you later. I�m not felling to good,� I said. That was true. When Shannon was talking, I just couldn�t stop thinking about Emily. �Is it Emily?� she asked. �Yeah, I just don�t understand why he didn�t tell me,� I said, looking over at Shannon. �Well, you never told him about Lance,� she said. �That�s true. But it never really came up.� I looked over at Shannon. Lance was my ex-boyfriend. We broke up because he was becoming famous with �N Sync. We broke it off and remained good friends. �Did Emily come up?� she asked. �Yeah. Last night she was at the restaurant. I asked who that was and he told me that he�ll explain it later.� �Well, it�s later. Now would be a good time to ask,� Shannon said. �Yeah, tonight. I�ll ask him about it.� �Now, tell me about Howie.� �Okay. We went to the restaurant and at the table was a smaller version of the bear that Howie won for me at the fair. There was a rose and a note. It was all so sweet. Well, after an hour he took me to the beach, where I got one of these,� I said, pointing to one of my hickeys. �Then we went back to his house and started a nice little make out session in his room. Then my dad called my cell. I�m very thankful he called because the Lord only knows what may have happened. The we fell asleep in each other�s arms in his bed.� �Wow, sounds like you had a fun night,� Shannon said. �It was great,� I said, rolling to the other side to see what time it was. It was 3:45. �Hey, Theresa, what are you going to wear tonight?� �I have no clue. Do you?� �No. So, we better figure out real soon,� Shannon said as she got up to go to her room. �Hey Shannon. Put Backstreet�s Back on and put it on track 8 please,� I asked. �Sure.� �I�ll Never Break Your Heart� came on. I thought about the first dance we had to this song. I went to my closet to see what I should wear. I finally picked out my black skirt that was short and lose with my light blue shirt. The shirt stopped at my belly button, the straps were spaghetti, and on the bottom of the shirt was a white heart. Underneath the heart was �BSB�. I got it when I went up to Canada. I laid the outfit on the bed and went to take my shower. Shannon and I finished getting ready early, so we sat down on listened to some music. Shannon just ended up wearing a black dress that was short and tight. �You know Shannon, I don�t think AJ is going to be able to take his eyes off of you,� I said. �Good. He�s not allowed to look at anyone else.� We just laughed. The telephone rang and Shannon answered it while I went to answer the door. Outside was AJ on the phone and Howie knocking on the door, both of them with a white rose in their hands. �Come in,� I said. AJ came in first and gave me a hug. Then he went over to Shannon and just stopped. �You look��.wow,� was all AJ could say. �Thanks,� she said as she went over and kissed him. |
