We smiled brightly for the flashes and for the reporters, knowing we would have nothing to do with them anymore. �Shall we began please?� Meshelle said. She smiled and took the seat next to Shannon. Before these, she had never been with us. �Kevin here. What do you think will be the thing you miss the most and why?� We glanced at each other and Jennifer spoke up first. �The writing. I can still write, but it won�t be nearly as fun because I know my group isn�t gonna record it.� �The touring,� Shannon said. �I loved seeing new places, meeting new people.� �The fans. Even if your day was bad, the fans always seemed to make you happy. Somehow, you just got the write letter and it warmed you,� Terri said, a soft smile touching her lips. �The busy schedule. Sure, at times I hated it, but now I�m gonna be home, with nothing to do, that is so not fun. I love being on the road, or recording, just doing something.� Megan just laughed and the crowd laughed with her. �The stage. The pure rush you got when those fans were clapping for you, screaming for you or just singing your songs. That pure rush was like a high. So, yeah, the music and the stage for sure,� I said, just smiling. �Carol. How did your fans react to the news?� �They were sad, of course, that we weren�t gonna record. Of course, that�s just for now. If we choose to, we can go on our own, or maybe down the road we can come back together. But they respected our wishes and said we deserved to be happy, no matter what happened,� I said. �David. Was there a lot hate mail?� �Probably more than we can count. Of course there will always be people you can not please, but that�s to bad. It�s our life and our choice. Trinity was strong for three years, breaking so many records. We�re happy with our lives,� Terri said. For two hours, we answered all kinds of questions, questions that were good, unique and ones that got to the point. Never before had a press conference gone on this long, and just as Meshelle stood up, a young lady in the back stood up, pen in hand, and a camera man right by her. My heart sunk and my eyes opened wide. I knew her, knew her so damn well. �Julie here. Theresa, I have a couple questions for you, if you don�t mind.� �No, Julie, go right on ahead.� �Thank you. Do you have any other siblings?� �Yeah, of course I do. I stated that quite a lot the first year we came out.� �Hmm, okay, and does one of them go by the name of Alexander?� My heart was pounding against my chest. If she knew, she was about the to tell this room and BSB would be gone, they would be wiped off the scene just as fast as we were. My fear was strong and she knew, the smirk hiding in her eyes told me all I had to know. She was gonna make a name for herself, but only to totally destroy what was left of us and my friends. The room of reporters just looked at her, not understanding, but only moments later they stared at me. �Julie, I can not understand why you would think I would have a sibling by the name of Alexander.� �Oh, you can, because you do. Your styles are quite a like, the body art and all the piercings. Not to mention you always tend to answer the same questions just about the same. Almost word for word. Now, I know only a sibling can do such a thing.� �I told you, I have only two.� �No, you have three. Alexander James McLean being the third, right?� Up until she said the name, I had every thought she was bluffing, just trying to get it out of me. But she knew, I don�t know how, but she knew. �Theresa? No comment.� My head hung down in total defeat. �I lied. Alex is my brother, but, before you all go getting the idea in your head that it�s this big scandal, it�s not. It�s quite a simple thing to explain.� She just laughed at me. �Please, entertain us.� �When the Boys first came out, he had�well, sorta forgotten about me.� �How can you forget about a sister?� Julie asked. The crowd agreed with her. I shook my head, glanced at Meshelle and ran out of the room. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-**-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* �Was that it?� I glanced at David and sighed. �Meshelle finished the question, yet, to everyone I looked stupid. Come to think of it, I suppose it was a stupid answer. But, there was no way I could describe it.� �How did BSB do?� �Once word got out that AJ lied, rumors flew. No one could trust the guys, no one wanted to hang with them. They had true fans, and true fans stuck behind them, but they couldn�t take the decline in sales. It was pure murder on their career and Julie knew it.� �I don�t know her name.� �Nor would you. She�s not famous at all. That story did her no good. Probably has something to do with the fact that I knew the editor of the newspaper and I read her article. It was damn good and she would have flown, except, he edited it, made it shorter and I rebuked the article, saying stuff in my own words. It was placed right above her article. Needless to say, she was rather pissed. I wrote to her, probably the last time I ever talked to her. But I told her that if she was gonna ruin me, I was gonna ruin her, and I did. It was nice to seek my revenge.� �How�s the couples going?� �Once we could, D and I had a huge wedding. Shannon and AJ are currently on their honeymoon, and believe it or not, in Italy. Um, Jennifer is just preparing to get married to Kevin. Nick and Terri are just having fun being together. And Brian and Megan got married two days ago. Oh, and Meshelle is happily married to Ashley and she is currently two months along.� �Your kids okay?� �Mine? Annoying! But I love them.� �When did you have them?� �Oh, when D and I got married, I was four months along. Surprising is the word I would use.� �Why did you do this interview?� �Things happened in Trinity, mind you it�s odd to say that name, but something happened in there. Things, in time, always get mistold. I wanted everyone to know the story.� �The press never asked about you and Howie?� |
